I have a theory of my own. Telelin was a popular brand of smart phone during the first season of Tamagotchi! and as the season went on, their popularity diminished and people started throwing them out for a newer, different phone. Lovelitchi, however, kept hers once it became a sentient being.

Telelin is the phone of Lovelitchi (Not the phone itself),she gave it that name,so yeah the other phones just are normal phones,parents of Lovelitchi gave her the phone of she becoming a celebrity on the Tamagotchi planet (According to what i remember from the anime) SPOILER ALERT FROM THIS POINT! DONT READ FROM THIS POINT IF U DONT WANT GET SPOILED THE STORY AS IT GONNA EXPLAIN EVERYTHING!,upon some episodes,the phone of Lovelitchi started act weird by sending mysterious e-mails from a thing that looked like Kuchipatchi,so Lovelitchi did run to Kuchipatchi to ask him what was that and then Kuchipatchi and friends said that was the Kuchipatchi of truth,the message was saying "Help!",meaning something was going on there,so the team decides go to the Kuchipatchi of truth to see what was happening,then the protagonists gets teleported to an old era where team gets sepparated and now they need have an adventure by theirself,Mametchi being alone,Kuchipatchi and Memetchi being together,and Lovelitchi with Telelin which mutated to an actual specie after passing throught the Kuchipatchi of truth,the team had to help the old era to remove some Tama-Bean trees which a Tamagotchi known as Mamemametchi (Mametchi but old era),accidentally let a Tama-Bean tree seed get into the ground and it started grow and grow until the point it started drop more seeds and made a forest of Tama-Bean trees,for his bad luck,he failed making an invent for delete the trees,which he will meet Mametchi,which will help him fix the machine to make it function correctly,meanwhile Kuchipatchi and Memetchi found a tribe of Patchi race which Kuchipatchi could understand the language of Patchi by saying "Datchi",basically that means every single word,meanwhile Lovelitchi and Telelin got into the Tamagotchi castle which had the KOT (Kuchipatchi of truth) there,after some time,Mametchi and Mamemametchi arrived to use the machine and delete the trees that was invading the planet,also Kuchipatchi along with Memetchi and the tribe was eating the trees to help,Mametchi and Mamemametchi tried use the machine but it didnt had enough energy,there wasnt any other energy source that was strong enough to destroy every tree,they thought it was over until Telelin offered itself to be the energy source,so Telelin started use its energy to power-up the machine,machine was able to destroy every tree,so the team could succcesfully complete their objective and they got returned to the current era to live more adventures.
