If you mean the having the previous Tamagotchi save them from death mechanic, I don't think it's on the 2024 V3. You could try pressing the reset button if you have four Grim Gotchis and depending on when the device saved, you may be able to go back to before the fourth one appears.
Four Grim Gotchis appear when the Tamagotchi dies on just the m!x, Meets/On, Pix, Snart, and Uni. On other Japanese releases, there’s still just one. On the English Connection models from V1 to V4.5, it’s just a flashing skull.
