What is going on with paradise pricing

I've never owned a tamagotchi before but I've been aware of them for a while. I'm currently boycotting most major toy companies because of the disease that is AI images and I will not give my money to any company that has used AI images for any purpose. This left a lot of empty space on my christmas list so I decided to give tamagotchi paradise a shot. My dad asked me to send him a link to a listing because the Amazon prices are ridiculous. Upon first glance at a google search it appears walmart has all versions available at the normal retail price but when I actually looked at these listings I found that all of them are either sold out or local pickup for stores that are on the other side of my state. I think walmart will ship them to my area but for that they have the same ridiculous pricing as Amazon. Entertainment earth also came up but they are on preorder there for January and I don't know what the shipping situation is on that site.

Does anyone know what is going on?

Thanks I now have a good reason to hate Tamagotchi paradise besides the artstyle

The official market price is for a Tamagotchi Paradise is supposed to be 45 USD (or your country currency's equivalent to that). If you see any higher prices than that, it's a reseller trying to take advantage of the demand for it. This especially goes for amazon where any Tamagotchi listing will be listed under "Bandai" but if you look at the actual seller, it'll be a third party one.

The stock for the Paradises seem to run out and restock at random times so if you don't see a 45 USD one, try checking again at a later time.

You could also try going to physical stores like Walmart or Barnes and Noble which usually has Tamagotchi stock.
