A Close Encounter In Between Time and Space is an animated short by study666i that released on Tamagotchi social media on May 19, 2025. The short was released as part of the Tamagotchi Official Shorts collection.

Synopsis[]

A place where I've seen or been, somewhere...Sometime...

Plot[]

The short starts with two caretakers connecting their Tamagotchi Uni, so their Mametchi and Mimitchi can visit each other. When they connect, Mimitchi starts to transport to Mametchi. However, Blackholetchi sucks her into his mouth and she is left in a void. Mimitchi sheds a tear which drops into a pool of water below and a bright light erupts from the spot and surrounds her.

Once Mimitchi wakes up, she is up in the sky surrounded by Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, Memetchi, Sebiretchi, and Gozarutchi all dancing around her. Mimitchi then abruptly wakes up in shock.
