A Mysterious Photo of Patchi Forest? (ぱっちの森のフシギな写真? Pacchi no mori no fushigi na shashin?) is part one of episode 91 of Tamagotchi!.
Synopsis[]
Pashalin comes to Patchi Forest for a picnic and is very excited. Wanting to keep playing instead of stopping for lunch, she goes into the depths of the forest with Telelin, Sopratchi, and Doremitchi. After taking pictures of flowers and chasing unknown tamagotchis, everyone decided to take a commemorative photo in a scenic spot. Then, a psychic photograph was taken?!
Plot[]
At Patchi Forest, Pashalin excitedly goes ahead of the tama-friends as they settle down to eat their picnic. When Pashalin insists on continuing to explore the forest, Moriritchi gives her permission to do so, but asks that she not go too far away from them. Pashalin, Telelin, Doremitchi, and Sopratchi then head into the forest as everyone else enjoys their picnic. A gust of wind blows Lovelitchi's napkin and Kuchipatchi catches it, somewhat concerned about it windy, but ultimately deciding to not worry about it.
Pashalin, Telelin, Doremitchi, and Sopratchi look around the forest as Pashalin takes photos of everything they pass by. Along the way, they encounter Dokukinotchi and Guriguritchi's family. When Monkeytchi and Usatchi pass by them, Pashalin wants to follow, but Telelin reminds her that Moriritchi told them not to go too far. However, Pashalin responds that they can just go back the way they came when they're done which is enough to convince Telelin to let the group go ahead. After playing with Monkeytchi and Usatchi, the group make it to the edge of Patchi Forest where Tamagotchi Town can be seen down below.
Pashalin takes a commemorative photo of everyone and shows it to them, but Telelin points out a strange black fuzzy splotch that's above them in the photo. She thinks it's a weird decoration Pashalin added, but when Pashalin responds that she didn't edit the photo Telelin freaks out. Telelin then theorizes that the splotch must be a ghost that showed up to curse them which terrifies everyone into hugging each other for safety.
At TamaCafe, Telelin explains that she ran into water a couple of times recently as proof that they've been cursed. Pashalin confirms this with her own bad experiences, slipping on Tamamori on the ground, incorrectly guessing who would win in Sparkling Tamamori Heaven, and fleeing from Anemoriritchi who tried to capture her. As the group freaks out again, Lovemamalitchi comes up to them and asks if they're okay. After asserting that they were, everyone forms a plan to learn more about curses and heads over to Tamastetchi. She informs them that Patchi Forest has power spots, areas full of spiritual energy. If they can find a power spot, they can cancel out the curse that's been put on them. Tamastetchi then tells them that the Tamagotchi School building would know where Patchi Forest's power spots are.
The group make it to Tamagotchi School, but the building itself is fast asleep. Pashalin and Telelin try tickling them awake as Doremitchi and Sopratchi repeatedly bounce into them. However, they remain asleep and Doremitchi and Sopratchi decide to run up the building and jump on their lips. This tickles the building's nose and makes him unleash a powerful sneeze, blowing everyone up in the air. They end up landing in Patchi Forest next to a heart shaped plant which Pashalin deduces must be the power spot they were looking for. The sun is then blocked out by clouds and the winds pick up, causing the group to huddle together in fear. The black fuzzy splotch from before then flies out and lands on Pashalin, causing everyone to run away in fright. Pashalin runs after them, thinking the curse is attacking her. She eventually falls over and the splotch falls to the ground.
Sick of being terrified, Telelin waves a stick around to fight the curse. Papaptchi then arrives and picks up the splotch, with Telelin warning him not to touch it as it's a curse. Papatchi then explains that he's spent the whole day chasing after his wig which was blown off by the wind, placing it on his head. However, the wig is blown off his head and lands on Kuchipatchi who had also just arrived. Kuchipatchi returns the wig to him and says he was looking for him, having a feeling the wind must have blown his wig away. Pashalin and friends then realizes that the curse was just Papaptchi's wig and Telelin is annoyed that they were scared for nothing. Everyone else then complains that Telelin was the one who made them believe it was a curse and she blushes in response. Pashalin spots something off screen and tells them to follow her as she runs off to take another picture.
