Afrotchi (アフロっち Afurotchi) is a special Tamagotchi character exclusive to the Windows 95 port of the Japanese Tamagotchi CD-ROM game.
Name Origin[]
Afrotchi is named after the hairstyle it has, which is an afro.
Appearance[]
Afrotchi's body is round with a peach skin tone and has two legs that are thinner than its feet. It has a yellow beak and an orange afro. In Tamagotchi CD-ROM however, its body has a much darker skin tone, gains arms that are thinner than its hands which he uses to carry a boombox around, its beak is now pink, and has a much larger yellow afro.

Trivia[]
- Afrotchi has traits of a stereotypical depiction of African Americans. It has not made any further appearances presumably over concerns regarding racial controversy.
