Agetchi (あげっち Agetchi) is an adult female Tamagotchi character who is raisable on the Tamagotchi iD L. She has also appeared in the Tamagotchi! anime series.
Name Origin[]
Agetchi's name comes from the Japanese word あげる ageru which normally means to rise or elevate. However, it is also frequently used to mean "to do up one's hair". Agetchi's name is a pun on both meanings since her hair is done up to be high.
Appearance[]
She is mostly purple with a beige face and arms, and her eyes are lavender with lighter colored eyeshadow. Her hair is done in a "beehive" or topknot style similar to Moriritchi's, except it has a frilly appearance to it. She has Black flowers (Indigo in the anime) with dark pink centers on her head and hair. She wears a long, frilly purple dress that covers her feet.
Personality[]
Agetchi is described as a grown-up Tamagotchi with a mature atmosphere and charm. She has a cool and cordial attitude and is unphased by most situations, and is also good at offering advice. However, it seems that she is oblivious at times, since she didn't realize when she was leading Spacytchi on in the anime.
She calls most males "bouya" (meaning boy), but she calls her boyfriend "honey". She also has a habit of saying age.

Agetchi is good friends with Anemoriritchi, and they are usually seen together in the Waru Cafe. In "Age~? Spacytchi's Love", Spacytchi fell in love with Agetchi. He gave her flowers and they went for a walk on the beach. However, at the end of the episode, it was revealed that Necktietchi was Agetchi's boyfriend and Spacytchi was left heart-broken.
In "Big Fight!? Moriritchi vs Anemoriritchi", Agetchi gave Anemoriritchi advice and helped her understand Moriritchi better after the two sisters had a fight.
GO-GO Tamagotchi![]
Agetchi appears briefly in "Laughing, Laughing, Another Gottsun!" during the special performance of Happy Happy Harmony.
