Age~? Spacytchi's Love (あげ～？スペイシーっちの恋 Age~? Supeishīchi no koi) is part 1 of episode 88 of the original Tamagotchi! anime series.
Synopsis[]
One day, Spacytchi, who aims to conquer Tamagotchi Planet, goes to Waru Cafe with Akaspetchi and Pipospetchi. While they were nervously hesitating at the entrance, Agetchi and Anemoriritchi came. Spacytchi is completely infatuated with Agetchi's adult charm. Where will his love go?![1]
Plot[]
The episode opens on the Spacy Brothers looking disappointed after another one of their plans failed. When they come across Waru Cafe, Spacytchi suggests going there to lift their spirits to which his brothers agree too. However, after opening the door and seeing everyone glare at them Spacytchi quickly closes the door and suggests going somewhere else. Anemoriritchi and Agetchi then come up to them and ask if they could move to the side so they could enter. Spacytchi is immediately smitten by Agetchi and lets them pass through. Akaspetchi complains about Agetchi calling Spacytchi a "boy" and asks if he'll do something about it, but Spacytchi says nothing as he stares in Agetchi's direction looking dazed. He then walks in to follow her as his brothers panic.
Inside, Anemoriritchi and Moriritchi sit down at the bar enjoying their drinks as Spacytchi and his brothers sit near them. The bar tender asks the Spacy Brothers what they want to drink, but Spacytchi continues to stare at Agetchi without answering. The bar tender then mixes up a drink and gives it to Anemoriritchi and Moriritchi, saying it's from Spacytchi. As the two enjoy their drinks, Spacytchi slides up to Agetchi and talks to her, blushing when she responds to him. The next day at Tamagotchi School, Spacytchi is sleeping at his desk as Mametchi and friends wonder what he's been up to.
After school, Spacytchi skips down Tama Street thinking about Agetchi. He stops by the Tamamori Shop after seeing Agetchi getting a tamamori makeover from Anemoriritchi and watches for awhile until Moriritchi spots him and pulls him inside. Moriritchi and Anemoriritchi offer to give him a makeover and he initially refuses before Agetchi says he would look cute in it. At night, Akaspetchi and Pipospetchi look at the night sky from their base and wonder where Spacytchi is. Spacytchi then appears behind them dressed up in tamamori to his brothers' shock. He proclaims his love for Agetchi, saying that it's real and meant to be. When his brothers act skeptical of this, Spacytchi angrily argues with them before becoming dazed with thoughts of Agetchi.
The scene changes to Spacytchi on the roof of the base, musing about Agetchi. Akaspetchi brings him a device saying that it can help them take over Tamagotchi Planet, but Spacytchi snaps at him and says that isn't important right now. Akaspetchi and Pipospetchi then become upset and scold Spacytchi for abandoning their mission before running away in tears. The next day, Spacytchi returns to Waru Cafe dressed up in a tuxedo and carrying a bouquet of flowers. When he walks in he is shocked to see Akaspetchi and Pipospetchi next to Agetchi, seemingly trying to convince her that Spacytchi isn't worth it. Spacytchi angrily tries to intercept them, but is knocked back by guards who come in to kick Akaspetchi and Pipospetchi out of the cafe for bothering Agetchi. Agetchi comes up to Spacytchi to see if he's okay and invites him to walk with her.
The two walk on a beach at nighttime as Spacytchi tries to figure out how to be romantic. He hears a guitar playing and is surprised to see it coming from Akaspetchi who is dressed as a crab. Pipospetchi is also nearby dressed as a rock, carrying a basket of shells. Spacytchi then realizes that his brothers were supporting him all along, pretending to bother Agetchi at the cafe so Spacytchi could "save" her. He internally thanks them while shedding a tear of happiness. Spacytchi then stops to look at the sky and give his bouquet of flowers to Agetchi who is happy to receive them. Realizing this is perfect time to confess his love, Spacytchi struggles to get the words out. However, his declaration of love is drowned out multiple times by Akaspetchi loudly playing the guitar until he yells at him to be quiet.
Once he has a quiet moment, Necktietchi runs up to Agetchi apologizing for being late. Agetchi calls him "honey" to Spacytchi's confusion and she explains that Necktietchi is her boyfriend which horrifies Spacytchi. She bids farewell to him and leaves the beach with Necktietchi. As Spacytchi stares brokenhearted at them, Pipospetchi and Akaspetchi ask if he's okay. He responds that he's tired, but they'll work hard to take over Tamagotchi Planet tomorrow and he runs off towards their base telling his brothers to come with him.
