Apollotchi (あぽろっち Aporotchi) is a character introduced in Tamagotchi! Tamatomo Daishuu GO.
Appearance[]
Apollotchi resembles a white rocket ship with a blue dome. His bottom section is red, and three yellow legs stick out from underneath. He has jets on either side of him. His face is dark yellow with glasses and bushy eyebrows, with windows for cheeks and a yellow beak. He wears a white bow-tie with red and blue stripes, and has five smaller windows below.
In the Anime[]
Apollotchi is a spaceship Tamagotchi that travels between The Earth and the Tamagotchi Planet. He is large enough to store people inside him, and takes on two human girls to study the Tamagotchi Planet and interact with Mametchi and his friends. Apollotchi himself can interact with everyone on-board by projecting his face onto a screen.
Name Origin[]
Apollotchi gets his name from the Apollo Program, which was carried out by NASA and accomplished landing the first twelve humans on the Moon from 1969 to 1972.
Trivia[]
- Apollotchi's glasses and bow-tie are references to the attire of his voice actor, comedian Bibiru Ōki.
