Babymotchi (ベビモっち Bebimotchi) is a baby Mushitchi that debuted in Game de Hakken!! Tamagotchi 2 and later appeared on the Mori de Hakken! Tamagotch.
Name Origin[]
Babymotchi's name is a combination of the English word "baby" and the Japanese word imochi, which means "potato bug".
Appearance[]
Babymotchi resembles a small, long, black blob with white eyes and a pink mouth.
Personality[]
Babymotchi is a very small Forest Tamagotchi, he lives anywhere in the ground so long as it's not under a willow tree. He eats mainly leaves, and other things with similar nutrients. It's rumored that the swaying and rustling of willow leaves and branches makes him think of ghosts and scare him, but no one knows if this is true.

Mori de Hakken! Tamagotch[]
Babymotchi behaves in a radically different manner to most baby Tamagotchi. If hatched from the white egg, Babymotchi will evolve into Imotchi after 24 hours. However, if hatched from the polka-dot egg, Babymotchi will be shown on the hatching animation but will have immediately evolved after the screen clears as usual. It sleeps from 8 PM to 8 AM, and can only be fed leaves.

Babymotchi is the baby stage for the Mushitchi, hatching from the wave pattern, black, flower pattern and two-tone eggs. It likes leaves, dislikes acorns and will evolve into Imotchi in six hours.
Tamagotchi Town[]
Babymotchi hatches from eggs in forest blocks and will evolve into Imotchi regardless of stress.
