Bakutchi, known as Bombtchi (ぼむっち Bomutchi) in Japan, is a male teen character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5.
Name Origin[]
His Japanese name is taken from the English word "Bomb". Internationally his name is "Bakutchi", which could be a shortened form of "Bakudan" (ばくだん), meaning bomb.
Appearance[]
Bakutchi resembles a round, black cartoon bomb with stick legs and yellow half-lidded eyes. He has a short lit fuse and a white smile.
Personality[]
Bakutchi is usually loud, exciting, and in top condition. The fire on his head burns brighter when he is hyped up. If the flame extinguishes, he becomes his alter ego Shibomutchi (しぼむっち, meaning "wither" or "fade") who surprises everyone with his lack of energy.

Bakutchi evolves from any male child Tamagotchi (excluding Hoshitchi) whose family has played with a majority of Cheerful items. His adult evolution is determined by how high the family's Bonding is, and what Bonding items were used.
