Not to be confused with Patapatatchi, the Nintendo 64 character.

Batabatchi (バタバタっち Batabatatchi) is a female teenager character that debuted on the Mesutchi in Japan, and on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 3 internationally. Her male counterpart is Propellertchi.

Name Origin[]

Japanese. "Batabata" is the sound of flapping wings. Her name was previously mistranslated as "Patapatatchi". As of Tamagotchi L.i.f.e. Tap and Hatch, her name translation was corrected and shortened.

Appearance[]

Batabatchi is green with red heart shaped hair clips or ears. She looks somewhat like an airplane and even slightly like Kuchipatchi.

Personality[]

A little chatterbox that just won't shut up when it comes to stuff about boyfriends or rumors of love. If you're foolish enough to tell her a secret, everyone will know within an hour, so be careful!

On Virtual Pets[]

Mesutchi[]

Batabatchi is a TMP3 teen that evolves from Mizutamatchi from average care or better, and rarely can evolve from Harutchi from below average care. Batabatchi evolves into Pipotchi from average care or better, though can regress into Mimikotchi with sufficient neglect or evolve into Tsuketchi through severe neglect - with higher discipline levels increasing the care thresholds.

The amount of discipline and care mistakes Batabatchi received as a child will determine her base discipline and whether it takes her 47-48 or 72-73 hours to evolve, and the number of discipline calls she will make depends on her starting discipline - she will only ever make just enough calls to fill the bar completely. She will lose a heart every 60 minutes, sleep from 9 PM to 9 AM, and her base weight is 20g.

Tamagotchi Connection Version 3[]

Batabatchi is one of three teen characters obtained through good care on odd generations. Although it can evolve from Mizutamatchi/Tamatchi in a first generation, in subsequent odd generations it can only be obtained from Mohitamatchi/Kuchitamatchi. Its favorite food is hamburgers, and dislikes pasta.
