Beartchi (ぐまっち Gumatchi) is a male Tamagotchi that lives in the Patchi Forest. He is a guest character on the Tamagotchi School and the Tamagotchi iD L. He appears in Tamagotchi: The MovieLet's Go! Tamagotchi, and Tamagotchi! series as a minor character. He is a possible customer in Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop. He can also be seen in TamaTown V4's artwork of Patchi Forest.


Beartchi looks like a tall black bear with round ears and a small tail. His head is lighter than the rest of his body, and he has a yellow crescent shape on his chest as well as an orangish circle on his cheek. He has short legs and long arms, and a Kuchipatchi-like mouth.

Beartchi appears as a minor character. In one scene, he can be seen relaxing at a hot spring while Hapihapitchi flies around him, making him feel happy.

Let's Go! Tamagotchi

Beartchi in "Let's Go! Tamagotchi"

In "A Day in the Patchi Forest", he briefly visits hot spring with Kuchipatchi. He then buys a glass of milk from a vendor, and walks off. In "Super Heroine Chamametchi!", he appears in Chamametchi's dream as a giant monster that is destroying the city. He is eventually shrunk down, and runs off yelping as the citizens of Tamagotchi Town cheer. His Japanese voice actor is Kenta Miyake, and his English voice actor is Marc Thompson.

Tamagotchi! series

One episode focuses on Beartchi, and it is also the first time he speaks. He is depicted as having a furious temper and he chases Kuchipatchi, Papapatchi, and the Chibipatchis. The only thing that can calm him down again is a hot spring.

GO-GO Tamagotchi!

Beartchi appears as a minor character. In episode 9, he can be seen relaxing at the chocolate hot spring that Wagassiertchi created.
