Bontentchi (ぼんてんっち) is a male Tamagotchi character who lives near Tama Beach and appeared in episode 116 of the Tamagotchi! anime.
Appearance[]
Bontentchi has a yellow body and wears a blue tank top with only one strap with matching blue pants. His chest is covered with bandaged wraps and can seen underneath his tank top. His head has two yellow loops on both sides and he wears a headband with a tied bow on it. He often carries a hammer and lantern with him.
Personality[]
Bontentchi is friendly and quite knowledgeable when it comes to murals. He is in love with Bontentchi and when she is too scared to confess her love to him at Love-Love power spot, he steps up and confesses his love first.
In the Anime[]
Tamagotchi![]
Bontentchi appears in "Legend of Love-Love Power Spot" where he approaches Bententchi and asks her what's she doing with the Tama-friends. After she explains that she's looking for Love-Love Power spot, he replies he has no idea where it is and notes that she must be looking for it for a special reason. The Tama-friends then realize she has a crush on Bontentchi and decide to help her confess her love to him.
After they find a cave with pieces of a mural in it, Bententchi goes to Bontentchi's house to ask him to look at it. Inside the cave, he explains that the mural has special properties about it which is why it burns in flames when exposed to light. Himespetchi then realizes that the cave must be Love-Love power spot and Bententchi tries to leave the cave without confessing her love. Bontentchi stops her and confesses his love first, causing her to blush and respond that she loves him too. Their newfound relationship causes the Flame Tama Heart to appear.
