Cactus Angel (さぼてんし Sabotenshi) is a Special Adult Angel that debuted on the Tamagotchi Angel in Japan and on the Tamagotchi Uni globally. On English editions, it is replaced with Smiling Angel.
Cactus Angel is festured on the English version with the re-released Tamagotchi Angel, Tamagotchi Original (Gen 3).
Name Origin[]
Its Japanese name is a combination of saboten (meaning "cactus") and tenshi (meaning "angel"). Tamagotchi Tap and Hatch had this character's name officially translated from "Sabotenshi" to "Cactus Angel".
Appearance[]
It appears to be cactus inside a small pot, and has a halo. On the App edition of Tamagotchi Angel, in addition to green, it can also be blue or pink. Its animation for everything, including eating, praying, and sleeping, are all exactly the same. However, in illustrations, it can be seen making a variety of different expressions.
Personality[]
It has a quiet personality and doesn't really react to things and move around. However when looked at in the eyes its demeanor becomes hard and intimidating and it mutters "You'll regret it if you touch me!"

Cactus Angel evolves from Tarakotchi Angel with 0-3 care mistakes (care mistakes reset on evolution). It wakes at 10 AM, sleeps at 11 PM, and its highest possible AP is 90.

Cactus Angel appears along with Ginjirotchi Angel and Oyajitchi Angel when the Angel Festival exclusive item "Angel Bell" is used.

Cactus Angel is one of the various Angel Tamagotchi that can be found near bodies of water at night. While they cannot be raised, Mikachu can take a photo of them to add them to the records book. Cactus Angel appears near the oasis in the western sector.
Tamagotchi Town[]
Cactus Angel evolves from Tamatchi Angel or Takotchi Angel when lured to a grassland block by food on the day they are due to evolve.

- Cactus Angel is one of three Tamagotchi based on cacti. The other two are Sabosabotchi and Tustustchi. Of the three, Cactus Angel is the only one that isn't a female teen-stage Tamagotchi.
