Chocolate! Chocolate! Who Will Get Lovelin's Chocolate? (ソワソワ! ラブリンチョコのゆくえは? Sowasowa! Rabrin choko no yukue ha?) is part 1 of Episode 18 of Tamagotchi!. It aired on February 8, 2010, which is six days before Valentine's Day.
Synopsis[]
Today is Valentine's Day. Lovelin will choose one lucky fan to give her handmade chocolates to and the crowd gets into an uproar, desperate to be the lucky fan.
Plot[]
On a bright, sunny morning, few people are seen cleaning and checking their mailboxes. Somewhere else, three men, Ojitchi, Necktietchi, and Mr. Turtlepedia all exclaim in hype that today is the Valentine's Season.
At the Mame Family house, Mametchi is focused on watching TV and Hapihapitchi and Chamametchi are frightened by his intense expression. He says to them he's not angry and that he's just nervous, before yelling out and asking them to quiet down. On the TV, Shikaitchi is talking to Lovelin and they remind everyone that it's nearly time for the yearly tradition: Lovelin will pick one person to give handmade chocolates to. However, she has yet to make a decision, disappointing viewers. The host remarks on her choice last year who was a little boy who send her a fan-letter. She responds that she was feeling down that day and the letter cheered her up so she picked him.
Shikaitchi then fiercely debates who the lucky person will be this year and the camera crew start arguing that they'll be picked. Lovelin says she'll do her best and then winks, exciting the viewers. Meanwhile at the Spacy Brothers rocket, Spacytchi wonders what Valentine's Day is and Akaspetchi replies he doesn't know. Spacytchi then points out getting picked for the chocolate will mean a free meal and Akaspetchi complements the idea.
The scene changes to Mametchi and Lovelin looking face to face. She seemingly picks him and hands the chocolate over, but the whole event turns out to be Mametchi's daydream. He is still in a trance as Chamametchi and Hapihapitchi call out to him. At TAMAX-TV, a flock of trucks arrive filled with fan-letters. The letters are placed in the building and there's so much to the point that all the rooms are nearly full. Lovelin looks overwhelmed as Manenetchi notes this must be because the boy from last year sent a letter. Later on, the TV crew finish shooting a Gotchiman scene and TamaPtchi announces they have to shoot Lovelin's scene next. As she comes in, TamaPtchi, ADtchi, Gotchiman, and Kakiwaritchi all fight to be extra nice to her and this eventually escalates to a quarrel.
Class begins at Tamagotchi School and as Memetchi reads out loud to the class, all the boys start to think of gifts. Ms. Perfect calls on Mametchi who is only able to blurt out that he wants chocolate, causing the class to laugh at him. During a break, Mametchi apologizes and says he can't stop thinking about Lovelin's chocolate. Makiko points out that all the other boys want chocolate too and Memetchi comments on how determined the boys are that they'll get picked. At TAMAX-TV, another flock of trucks arrive, this time carrying gift boxes. Like the fan-letters, they nearly fill up the entire building and cause Lovelin and Manenetchi to feel overwhelmed again. As they head home in the Lovelin Bus, a crowd follows them carrying gifts for Lovelin.
At the Tama Cafe, Lovemamalitchi is teaching Lovelitchi how to make chocolate as Memetchi, Makiko, and Flowertchi watch. Lovepapalitchi comes in the room and offers a basket of mushrooms to put in the chocolate, but the two reject it, disappointing him. Memetchi asks Lovelitchi if she chose someone yet, but she responds that still hasn't despite time running out. Makiko points out all the letters, gifts, and flattery means everyone loves her and Memetchi says she should follow her heart. Flowertchi adds that everyone will understand if she doesn't choose them and Lovelitchi thanks the girls for their advice, feeling better about the situation.
The next morning, Lovelin announces to everyone that she is now about to deliver her chocolate to a "very special tamagotchi". When the camera zooms out, Papamametchi is seen, much to Mametchi, Chamametchi, and Hapihapitchi's surprise. Lovelin makes her decision and the winner is: Tamagotchi Planet. To everyone's surprise, Lovelin explains that everybody has been spending time living on it. Yet, they all forget how much they owe to the planet. So she decided to choose the planet itself, by giving it her giant homemade chocolate. Lovelin and Papamametchi launches the chocolate at the planet's mouth and it happily eats it.
