Decisive Moment! Photo Contest (決定的シュンカン！写真コンテスト Ketteiteki shun kan! Shashin kontesuto) is part one of episode 83 of Tamagotchi!.
This episode, along with the second half "Piko Piko Copy! Papamametchi", were later rebroadcast as the fifth episode of the season Tamagotchi! Tamatomo Daishuu GO.
Synopsis[]
Today's episode of "With Lovelin" features the "Decisive Instant Photo Contest". The winner who shoots the most decisive moment will receive a year's worth of the refreshing drink "Gotchi Droplets"! Mametchi and friends go to Tama Street with a camera in hand to participate. Who will win?
Plot[]
The episode starts with Lovelin explaining the rules of the "Decisive Instant Photo Contest": each contestant is supplied with a camera and must submit a photo of an exciting moment. The photo found to be most exciting will win and the winner will get a year's supply of the Gotchi Droplets drink. She introduces the contestants and Gotchiman who is also there to promote the contest. After the introductions, she begins the contest and everyone scatters to find a photo opportunity.
Mametchi decides to take multiple photos of Gotchiman as he poses on a stage. Kuchipatchi initially takes photos of Shinshitchi eating burgers before deciding to take pictures of himself enjoying the burgers instead. Near the Train Station, Memetchi sneakily watches as Makiko trips on the sidewalk and snaps a picture of the moment. Elsewhere on Tama Street, Moriritchi walks down the street with Pashalin who is taking pictures of everything they pass by. Nachuratchi, Melodytchi, and Lovepapalitchi are seen doing the same thing. Back at the stage, Kuromametchi takes secret pictures of Lovelin and Telelin as they relax and wait for the contest to end.
The Spacy Brothers are seen deciding that they'll make their own exciting moment to take a picture of. Spacytchi hurts himself doing some stunts, but the pictures Pipospetchi takes are blurry forcing him to do the stunts again. At another location, Makiko sneakily takes a picture of Memetchi's hair getting ruined by the wind. Back at Gotchiman's stage, Gotchiman asks Mametchi for a break and walks off to rest. Wanting to take a more exciting photo of him, Mametchi follows Gotchiman to a cafe where it looks like Gotchiman will unmask himself. However, it's revealed that another mask is underneath Gotchiman's mask, exasperating Mametchi.
The scene returns to the Spacy Brothers who are near several barrels. Spacytchi tries to lift them, but they are too heavy. Frustrated at this, Spacytchi kicks them in anger which causes all the barrels to roll down the street towards his brothers who run in fear. The brothers safely avoid the barrels, but the barrels continue rolling down the street towards other Tamagotchis who also run away in terror. Gotchiman tries to stop them with a heroic kick, but fails and topples over instead. The barrels head towards Moriritchi and Pashalin who tries to take a picture of them. Moriritchi grabs Pashalin in time before she gets crushed by a barrel as Pashalin protests against not being able to take the shot.
The contests ends and the scene changes to Lovelin showing all the photos the contestant submitted. Memetchi and Makiko become angry at each other for taking embarassing photos as Lovelin becomes surprised at seeing Kuromametchi's photo of her, wondering how she didn't notice the photo being taken. Lovelin then praises Pashalin's photo of the barrels rolling towards her and finally reveals the winning photo of the contest: Lovepapalitchi's photo of Moriritchi saving Pashalin from getting hit by the barrels. Everyone cheers for Lovepapalitchi except for the Spacy Brothers who are upset their photo didn't win. It's then revealed that Pipospetchi took a photo of Lovepapalitchi taking a picture of Moriritchi and Pashalin.
