Denpatchi (でんぱっち) is an unused adult character whose data first appeared on the Tamagotchi Connection.
Appearance[]
Denpatchi resembles three blocks with faces, each varying in height. Their individual heights fluctuate in their animations. It is suggested to be based on Mobile phone signal bars that are displayed on mobile phones.
Function[]
Denpatchi appears to be an unused Deka Tamagotchi character; when connecting to a Tamagotchi with Denpatchi on it, they will react as though connecting to a Deka unit. The gift Denpatchi sends is an envelope, which may reveal a (^_^) or (>_<) Emoticon when the Tamagotchi interacts with it.
Denpatchi can't be raised on any Tamagotchi, and therefore is only obtainable on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 1, Version 2, and Version 3 via debugging.
Name Origin[]
Denpatchi's name comes from the Japanese word "denpa" (でんぱ), meaning "radio wave". Its name is mentioned in the US Tamagotchi Connection patent in its character list (fig. 34)[1].
