Denshohatotchi (でんしょハートっち Denshohātotchi) is Hatokamitchi's personal carrier pigeon. He debuted in the Tamagotchi! anime.
Name Origin[]
"Densho" (伝書) means "courier", and "hāto" (ハート) means heart and is a pun on "hato" ハト, meaning "pigeon".
Appearance[]
Denshohatotchi resembles a pink pigeon, wearing a dark pink hat and carrying a matching messenger bag.
Personality[]
Denshohatotchi sends messages and packages in an old-fashioned way. Most packages he has to pick up and send to Ha Island for Hatokamitchi; often they contain TamaDepa donuts. He prefers to walk instead of fly and has the ability to walk on top of water without sinking into it.
Denshohatotchi does not speak and is mostly silent except for pigeon noises they make occasionally. He greets Tamagotchi by raising his hat to them.
In the Anime[]
Tamagotchi![]
Denshohatotchi first appears in "Make It Charming! Guruguru Haniwa Big Battle" to deliver Hatokamitchi's letter to TamaCafe at night. He later appears at the end of episode to deliver another letter directly to Kizunatchi. In the next episode, "Full of Mystery!? Ha Island and Hatokamitchi", he delivers Tamamo Letters the Tama-friends have written for Hatokamitchi. He agrees to lead them to where Hatokamitchi is and walks all the way to Ha Island to lead them there. When he arrives at the island, he attacks Hatokamitchi to wake him up and deliver the letters.
In "The Mysterious Beginning of the Vanishing Tama-Hearts" he is seen with Hatokamitchi when he is watching the Tama-friends on a projection at home.
