The Dolphintchi (known as Crescent Irukatchi (三日月イルカっち Mikadzuki Irukatchi) in Japan) is a species of dolphin-like Sakanatchi characters. They normally live in the sea by a tropical island.
Name Origin[]
Iruka is Japanese for "dolphin". The word crescent (mikadzuki) is part of their name because of the crescent on their backs.
Appearance[]
Dolphintchi look like blue dolphins with two lighter blue, curvy stripes on their body. They have a yellow star on the side of their face and a yellow crescent-shaped fin on their back.
On Virtual Pets[]
Tamagotchi On[]
Dolphintchi appear in the minigame Dolphin, available on the Magic and Fairy versions. They bring presents to the piers for the user's tamagotchi to collect.
They also appear in the favorite animation for the Trunk item, bring the user's tamagotchi's trunk back after they drop it in the ocean.

Trivia[]
- In the English version of the Tamagotchi On, Shirimotchi will mention meeting Dolphintchi with Tourcontchi and wonders if he will bring them to Tama Resort Island. However, he mistakingly refers to the Dolphintchi by their romanized Japanese name instead, calling them "Mikazuki Irukatchi".
