Dorikawa Card

A Dorikawa Card is an item seen in the Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream anime. Dahlia Diva and Daisy Dance first had them, and then Yumemitchi and Kiraritchi obtained some when they were given their Yume Kira Bags.

Name Origin

Dorikawa comes from the word "Dream (ドリーム dorimu)" and "Kawaru (変わる kawaru, transform)". In fact, Dorikawa Cards possessed by Yumemitchi and Kiraritchi can change their style when scanned.

Types of Cards

There are two types of Dorikawa Cards.

Identification Cards

In Dream Town, every residing inhabitants must carry around these specialized identification cards. This displays their general profile of gender, birth, and profession. Notably, Dream School uses these often.

Yume Kira Bag Cards

These cards are specifically used for the Yume Kira Bags. Real-life replicas of them can also be purchased and used on the Yume Kira Bag toys. There are two types of cards: Heart and Item cards. The heart card is the profile of a specific profession and the item card supplies the user with the pictured item. When Yumemitchi and Kiraritchi scan these cards, they can change into various transformations. They can also scan cards on Yumecantchi's backpack, which will unlock an item for them to use or a treat for Yumecantchi.

Merchandise

Examples of real Dorikawa Cards.

Dorikawa cards appeared as merchandise items. These consists of collectible cards with characters from the anime and transparent overlay clothing cards. They act as similar to Tamamori, dressing up characters with clothing and items.
