Drama Special Gotchi Vampire Detective? (ドラマスペシャル ごっちがヴァンパイア刑事?Dorama supesharu gotchi ga vanpaia deka?) is episode 105 of Tamagotchi!. The episode aired two days before the Tamagotchi franchise's anniversary which is also Mametchi's birthday.
Synopsis[]
TamaPtchi decides to make a program that combines "Anpan Detective", "Gotchi ga Slash", and the "Vampire" series together.
Plot[]
TamaPtchi picks through several show scripts in his office trying to think of a new show idea. ADtchi suggests things that could go into the show, but TamaPtchi responds with TAMAX-TV shows that have those things already. He then gets the idea to combine the Princess Lovelin, Thief Papillon, and Vampire Mametchi shows for a special episode and hurries off to tell Lovelin about his idea.
In the Princess Lovelin setting, Princess Lovelin spots Tamagotchis in the town enjoying a new snack. She begs Kuchipatchi and Memetchi to let her out of the castle to try the snacks and throws a tantrum when they say no. Her advisors eventually give in and the three go out into town to enjoy the snack. Princess Lovelin then spots Detectives Kuromametchi, Mimitchi, and Ringotchi running after their next case and goes after them, ignoring Kuchipatchi and Memetchi's pleas to not go after trouble.
The detectives enter Don Paratchi's house and he explains that his pottery jar was stolen last night. Princess Lovelin and her advisors catch up to them and Kuromametchi questions why they're here. Anpan Detective and Detective Tamamori then enter the room and introduce themselves to Kuromametchi's growing confusion. Detective Tamamori gets to work and sets up police tape all over the premises as Anpan Detective asks Don Paratchi some questions. Don Paratchi notes that the thief did not make any noise last night and points out MC Puppetchi lying down on the ground outside.
Everyone is initially shocked, but it turns out MC Puppetchi was only taking a nap. Princess Lovelin then finds a decorative fan on the ground and Mimitchi guesses that it must be from the performers in town. Everyone heads to the show building where Tomomi and Melodytchi are performing with fans that spit water out like a water fountain. After the performance, the detectives question Tomomi about the fan and she explains what they were doing last night: the two were invited to a castle to do a personal performance for the owner inside who is revealed to be Vampire Mametchi. The vampires enjoy the performance and Vampire Mametchi asks the girls to use a special red liquid in their show. After the show ends, Tomomi gives her fan to Mametchi at his request.
Back in the present, Princess Lovelin suggests that they follow the carriage tracks leading to the castle so they can find it. When they arrive at the castle, Vampire Mametchi and his minions are playing with Tomomi's fan and squirting red liquid everywhere. The detectives confront Vampire Mametchi and he accidentally reveals himself as the thief. He then commands Tomomi and Melodytchi to attack the group and its revealed that they were vampires the whole time. The group runs away and scatters throughout the castle as the vampires catch all of them except Anpan Detective, Princess Lovelin, Telelin, and Pashalin who lock themselves in a room.
Telelin remembers that vampires are weak to garlic and Princess Lovelin gets the idea to create a garlic dish. She starts up her "30 second recipes" segment and creates Bruschetta with lots of garlic. The four then appear behind the vampires and throw the bruschetta at them. The vampires except Vampire Mametchi and Hapihapitchi eat the bruschetta, curing them of their vampire curse. Vampire Mametchi then flees back to his coffin and locks himself inside as Hapihapitchi mocks everyone from above. As Detective Kuromametchi thinks of how to unlock the coffin, Mametchi no Suke walks in and slices it up, leaving Vampire Mametchi vulnerable. The rest of the bruschetta is thrown in his mouth and his vampire energy flies out his body. He reveals the location of the pottery jar and is arrested by the detectives. The jar is then returned back to Don Paratchi and he thanks everyone.
The scene changes to the TAMAX-TV crew having a party in the lobby to celebrate their filming of the special episode. Tomomi gets Mametchi's attention and performs a magic trick to make a birthday cake appear on the table. Everyone then wishes Mametchi's a happy birthday as he blows out the candles and poses for Pashalin's picture.
