Dream Town login screen.

Dream Town was an interactive web game for the Tamagotchi Friends website. It places the player in the interactable town of Dream Town featuring Tamagotchi characters. The site launched in 2014 and was closed in 2019.

Gameplay[]

Players take control of one of the starting Tamagotchi characters upon starting a new game: Yumemitchi, Kiraritchi, or Kiramotchi. Gameplay consists of exploring Dream Town, collecting items, and talking to and befriending people around town. Shops can be visited in Dream Town, where the player can spend their Gotchi Points to purchase items.

There are various Tamagotchi characters around Dream Town. Some may have notification bubble icons on them, indicating an interesting conversation. Conversation may consist of chatter, requests, or questionnaires. Having such conversation with them will fill up their heart gauge. The heart gauge represent their friendship towards the player. Filling up their heart gauge will reward the player with items.

Locations[]

At first, only three locations are available. The other four locations are unlockable by completing quests.

There are seven accessible locations in the game:

  • Park - A peaceful park with lush greenery. There is a recycling machine where players can trade in items for Gotchi Points and a fountain where you can fill empy containers with water.
  • Waterfront - A water-dominant area with docks and platforms. The Music Cafe is located here. There is also a kiosk that can directly link to a Tamagotchi Friends device for extra goodies.
  • Dream School Cafeteria - A cafeteria area just outside of the prestigious Dream School. Food and drink items can be purchased here.
  • Industrial area - A place for inventing and building things. Gadgets and tools can be crafted at the Workshop.
  • Restaurant area - A district containing high-class recipes and cuisines. Various foods and ingredients can be purchased here.
  • Entertainment area - Contains Dream Town's main entertainment studio: YUMEX-TV. There is also another kiosk which can link to a Tamagotchi Friends device for bonuses.

Himespetchi also gets some wood, and then she has almost everything she needs. However, she is still missing her pink hammer. She asks Kiramotchi if she's seen it. Kiramotchi says she might have seen a pink hammer at the Waterfront Area, so Himespetchi goes there to search for it. She doesn't have any luck finding her hammer, so she asks Julietchi about it. Julietchi says she thinks she saw a hammer in the Park Area. After searching the park carefully, Himespetchi discovers her lost hammer. Finally, she can make the long-distance pink radio.

She goes to the Workshop and starts building the pink radio. Then Himespetchi uses the radio and successfully locates Bolttchi. He's far away, working in a tool shop. Maid to Order[]

Requirements:  Complete Kiraritchi's and Kiramotchi's first adventures and Julietchi's second adventure

Description: Himespetchi likes making drinks with the maid robot at the Music Café, but she wishes that there were more options.

Sequence: Himespetchi wonders if the robot maid at the Music Café could make new drinks. She talks to the robot's creator, Mametchi. She daydreams about Ikemen Mametchi, and imagines that he says that she must use love to help the maid robot. Himespetchi decides to teach the maid robot about liking new things. She asks Julietchi what kind of new drinks she should get. Julietchi thinks of her favorite drink, but she says it's too rare to share. This makes Himespetchi very curious, so she tries to encourage Julietchi to share what it is. Finally Julietchi tells her that it's golden apple juice. She says that it's only sold sometimes in the Dream School Cafeteria. Himespetchi goes to the school's cafeteria and buys the last golden apple juice box. She takes it to the music café to give to the maid robot. The maid robot only turns on when someone is making an order, so Himespetchi has to make a drink first. However, she doesn't get a reaction out of the maid robot from the golden apple juice.

Himespetchi asks Pianitchi about new drinks. Pianitchi suggests purple tea, and says that her mom just ordered a huge stock of purple tea bags. She asks Himespetchi if she can pick it up for her. Himespetchi goes the Restaurant Area, finds the box with the tea in it, and brings it back to Pianitchi. Pianitchi thanks her and gives her a purple tea bag. Himespetchi makes the purple tea with the robot, but she still doesn't get a reaction. She asks Mametchi about the maid robot again. She daydreams that Ikemen Mametchi is talking about the robot's heart, but Mametchi actually says that she has to be reprogrammed. Himespetchi comes out of her daydream for a moment and hears this. After she comes to a realization, she starts creating some new program sheets for the maid robot. First she has to write them out, and then transfer them using a pink radio. Himespetchi remembers that she made a pink radio a while back, and wonders where it could be. She asks Yumemitchi about it, and Yumemitchi says it might be in the Park Area. Himespetchi searches the park very carefully, but she doesn't find her pink radio. Himespetchi asks Kiramotchi, and she says she saw one in the Industrial Area. Himespetchi looks in the Industrial Area and recovers her lost radio.
