Fearful Kikitchi's Big Training! (怖がりききっち大特訓! Kowagari Kikitchi dai tokkun!) is the 113th episode of the original Tamagotchi! anime.
Synopsis[]
Kikitchi is so cowardly that he can't even go to the bathroom alone at night. One day, he is determined to overcome his fear. He goes to Patchi Forest at night for special training with Sebastiantchi. Meanwhile, Mametchi and the others heard a rumor that a mysterious heart appears in Patchi Forest during the night, and they go to find out if it's a Tama Heart. [1]

At Tamagotchi School, the Tama-friends are still feeling sad over Tomomi returning to Earth last episode. They cheer up quickly when thinking about how Tomomi can reconnect with her friends and sit down as Grippatchi starts class. Grippatchi notices Kizunatchi and welcomes her to class as she sits in Tomomi's old seat, ready to learn. At lunch, Uwasatchi runs up to the Tama-friends and tells them a rumor: a Tama Heart called the Nazuna Heart can be found in Patchi Forest at nighttime. The friends are initially suspicious of this, but Kizunatchi convinces them to look for it.

At Patchi Forest during nighttime, Kikitchi walks through the forest alone. Sebastiantchi then jumps him and terrifies Kikitchi who scolds him for doing that. Sebastiantchi reminds Kikitchi that he wanted to become brave and a flashback shows Kikitchi talking to his classmates who are asking if he's actually too scared to go to the bathroom alone at night. He denies this, but it's later shown that he genuinely is too scared to go to the bathroom at night. Kikitchi tells Sebastiantchi that he wants to overcome his fear and after a few failed attempts, Sebastiantchi puts together a test for Kikitchi to go through at Patchi Forest.
In the present, Sebastiantchi gives Kikitchi a map to a cave he's supposed to go to and leaves him alone. Kikitchi eventually runs into the Tama-friends who are looking for the Nazuna Tama Heart. He decides to go with them so he won't be alone and the group walks deeper in the forest. Kikitchi soon becomes distracted by the Patchi Forest residents and accidentally gets left behind. As he consults his map, a fake tree sneaks up on him and taps his map. Upon realizing what snuck up on him, Kikitchi runs away screaming as a shadowed figure appears behind the tree.

He eventually hides behind a tree in fear, but When someone's foot came out notices a glowing pair of blue eyes behind him which makes him scream even more. The shadowed figure reveals themself as Kodatchi and they ask Kikitchi what they're doing in the forest. After Kikitchi explains himself, Kodatchi replies that they're having fun in the forest and want to tag along with him, adding that they could help him reach the cave. Kikitchi agrees to this so he won't be alone and the two set off. Kikitchi continues to be scared by noises in the forest, but Kodatchi is unbothered by them. When they reach a tree, Kodatchi suggests Kikitchi climbs it so he can see where the cave is. A branch knocks Kikitchi's head flashlight backwards, making it shine on his rear and causing the heart shape on it to glow.

Meanwhile, the Tama-friends call out and look for Kikitchi. Mametchi spots Kikitchi's glowing butt and mistakes it for the Tama Heart they're looking for. Melodytchi tries to collect it on her Tama Profy, but nothing happens to everyone's confusion. Kikitchi eventually falls off the tree and complains to Kodatchi how the tree is too hard to climb. Kodatchi apologizes and takes Kikitchi to a frozen pond which he accidentally slips on. The coldness of the pond makes Kikitchi jump in the air and the Tama-friends spot his glowing butt in the distance. Lovelitchi tries to collect the heart on her Profy, but nothing still happens. As Kodatchi has fun sliding on the ice, Kikitchi blows up at him and tells him that he's wasting his time and not helping him find the cave. When Kodatchi replies that he just wants Kikitchi to have fun with him, Kikitchi angrily leaves him behind.

Kikitchi continues angrily walking through the forest while complaining about Kodatchi. He pushes by the fake tree from earlier and stops to look at it. As makes the tree move, he realizes that he's been so caught up with Kodatchi that he hasn't been scared of the forest. Kikitchi makes his way back to Kodatchi who is sitting on a rock looking upset. He scares him with the tree and apologizes for yelling at him, telling Kodatchi that he's genuinely been helping him not be terrified of the forest and wants to make it up to him. The two are then seen playing in the forest as the Tama-friends follow them, wanting to collect the Tama Heart.

Kikitchi and Kodatchi eventually make it to the cave where Sebastiantchi left bananas behind as a reward for making it there. Kikitchi thanks Kodatchi for being with him and a Tama Heart appears behind them. Kodatchi then glows and starts disappearing, saying that he had a lot of fun with Kikitchi tonight. As Kikitchi stands in shock, the Tama-friends reach the cave and collect the Tama Heart which revealed itself as a Moon heart. Mametchi goes up to him to ask him if he's okay and Kikitchi runs away from the cave, screaming that Kodatchi was a ghost all along. The episode closes on Kikitchi's rear as Sebastiantchi looks exasperated at Kikitchi being scared again.

- This is the only episode between Tomomi's departure and Himespetchi's arrival. Tomomi still appears in the opening and ending.
