Togetchi (とげっち) is a male adult character that debuted on the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus in Japan and on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 4 internationally. He has appeared in the Tamagotchi! anime series as a minor character.
Name Origin[]
Togetchi's name comes from the Japanese word toge (刺), which means spike or thorn.
Appearance[]
Togetchi is mostly light blue, but the top of his head is yellow. He has many points all over his body, and two longer points on top of his head that resemble ears. He has pink cheeks, almond-shaped eyes, and a cat-like mouth. His arms and legs are short and stick-like. When viewed from the side, his body is shown to be somewhat flat like a button.
Personality[]
Togetchi has a reputation as being aggressive, but he's actually very calm and peaceful, and he is a pacifist. His favorite phrase is "Love and Peace". However, he can be very fierce when he is angry.
Tosakatchi mentions in Tamagotchi Corner Shop 3 that Togetchi likes punk rock music, but listens to pop music as well.

Togetchi is a student in Grippatchi's class. He appears in the background when Mametchi and Tanpopo are saving Chamametchi's egg and later appears at Mamemame Laboratory to watch Mametchi and friend's mission in space.

Togetchi is usually seen performing with his bass guitar with his bandmates, Hinotamatchi and Tosakatchi.

Togetchi is seen having an adventure on the Magical Flying Library Ship with other students and appears in scenes at Tamagotchi School
Tamagotchi![]
Togetchi is a student at Tamagotchi School. He is a big fan of Lovelin and is a part of the Lovelin Cheer Club with KuroMametchi, Debatchi, and Hinotamatchi. He occasionally performs songs with Hinotamatchi. In "No Boys Allowed! The Princess Day Party", he argues with the girls in his class about not being allowed to join the girls only party. When sneaking into the party later with other boys, he accepts Prince Tamahiko's idea of dressing up as a girl to blend in.
Togetchi is partnered with Hinotamatchi for a badminton game in "Pumpkinmington! Let's Start-datchi" and loses to Lovelitchi and Melodytchi. In "Happy! Shops at the School Festival / Terrible! The GOTCHIMAN and Hero Show", he plays a civilian in the school play that gets captured by the villains and has to be saved by the heroes. In "New Members? To Class Suddenly", Togetchi gets moved to another class to make room for the new influx of students enrolling in Tamagotchi School. He says goodbye to Mametchi before going to his new room.
In "Fashion! The Best? Eggs of Style", Togetchi is turned into an egg from the Eggification curse. When playing a game of soccer, KuroMametchi refuses to pass him the ball due to him not having any legs to kick it with. He is returned to normal in "The Power of the Bond" with every other eggified Tamagotchi.

Ura Togetchi is featured on Ura Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus and the Tamagotchi Connection Version 4.5. He looks like Togetchi except for his multi-colored striped hat and his bat-like wings. He says he sings like a rocker but he actually sings like a country singer.
Advisor Togetchi[]
Advisor Togetchi is a role Togetchi plays in the TAMAX-TV show, Princess Lovelin. Whenever Princess Lovelin sneaks out from the castle, Lord Kikitchi orders him to find her.
