Hatokamitchi (ハートかみっち) is the legendary god of Tama Hearts. Kizunatchi is his Tama Heart collector, and Denshohatotchi is his carrier pigeon.
Name Origin[]
His name comes from the word Hāto (ハート) (meaning heart) and kami (神 / かみ) (meaning god or guardian).
Appearance[]
Hatokamitchi has a white, fluffy, pear-shaped body. He has a pink heart on top of his head and another one on his stomach. He has small round eyes with brown irises, and fluffy eyebrows and a fluffy moustache. He carries a pink staff which has a heart shape at the tip, which is then used by Kizunatchi to cure the eggification curse by using magic.
Personality[]
As the guardian of Tama Hearts, Hatokamitchi is knowledgeable about them and never leaves Ha Island. He loves hot tea and TamaDepa donuts. Often, he has Denshohatotchi buy and deliver donuts to him. His handwriting is difficult to read, and Kizunatchi is the only one able to decipher it. Hatokamitchi also has the tendency to fall asleep at inappropriate times, like when he's explaining something important.

Tamagotchi![]
Hatokamitchi is first mentioned in "Full of Mystery! Kizunatchi" when Kizunatchi tries to describe him and explain that he gave her the task of collecting Tama Hearts. She later draws a picture of him to show what he looks like. In "Make It Charming! Guruguru Haniwa Big Battle", he has Denshohatotchi buy him Tama Depa donuts and deliver a letter to Kizunatchi.
He makes his first appearance in "Full of Mystery!? Ha Island and Hatokamitchi", where the Tama-friends follow Denshohatotchi to Ha Island to meet him. He welcomes them to his home and answers all the questions they wrote in their Tamamo Letters. Later, he brings them to a fountain to summon a Mysterious Plate with their collected Tama Hearts, but the fountain freezes and the plate goes back to the depths of the fountain, as they don't have enough hearts yet. When the Tama-friends leave, he praises Kizunatchi for her progress on collecting hearts and encourages her to obtain more. As the Tama-friends sail away on Captain Goutchi, Hatokamitchi senses something ominous coming their way.
Hatokamitchi watches the Tama-friends through a projection at his home in "The Mysterious Beginning of the Vanishing Tama-Hearts". He is worried about how they will fare when the danger reaches them, but she goes off to eat donuts before elaborating further. When the eggification curse starts turning every Tamagotchi into eggs, the Tama-friends go to Ha Island in "Tamagotchi Planet's Pinch! Can Kizunatchi Save It!?" to receive Hatokamitchi's guidance in curing the curse. He explains that Kizunatchi must use the collected Tama Hearts to summon the mysterious plate on the island so all plates could be gathered for a miracle. Hatokamitchi begins the process using his staff and summons heart pillars and all the mysterious plates to the island, despite being turned into an egg.
In "The Power of the Bond", the curse catches up to Hatokamitchi and turns him into an emotionless white egg. Kizunatchi is upset by this, but the Tama-friends encourage her to save Tamagotchi Planet so he can return to normal. She uses his staff to cure Tamagotchi Planet and its inhabitants of the curse. After being cured, he accompanies Kizunatchi as she says goodbye to everyone.

Hatokamitchi appears briefly in "Laughing, Laughing, Another Gottsun!" during the special performance of Happy Happy Harmony. He can be found on Ha Island with Denshohatotchi, Kizunatchi, Yumecantchi, and the Fortune Teller.
