Fortetchi (フォルテっち Forutetchi) is a male Tamagotchi character who appears in episode 121 of the Tamagotchi! anime.

Name Origin[]

Forte/Fortissimo is a musical dynamic meaning "loud" or "strong", which could refer to his bold personality.

Appearance[]

Fortetchi is small and blue-green in color, with short arms and round feet. He has cat-like ears and yellow hair with curves along the bottom like Chamametchi's ears.

Personality[]

Fortetchi is from the day care center at Melody Land. Initially he was bold and stubborn. He didn't care for company, preferring to spend most of his time sitting by himself rather than socializing with others. He was also blunt when it came to stating his opinions, such as when he criticized Mametchi's singing. But after making friends with Mametchi and the others, Fortetchi decided to spend more time with others.

Tamagotchi![]

Fortetchi appears in ""Tone Deaf" Mametchi and "Sing by Ear" Fortetchi" where he tells Mametchi that his singing is bad after Mametchi tries to teach the children of Melody School how to sing. He later comes across Mametchi practicing his singing and admits to him that his singing isn't good either and that he's reading books to improve his singing. Foretetchi eventually gets annoyed by Mametchi's singing and offers advice on how to sing in rhythm with music.

Lovelitchi goes to Fortetchi's teacher to ask about him and the teacher responds that Fortetchi isn't confident in his abilities and his refusal to sing with others makes it hard for him to make friends. Lovelitchi tells Mametchi this information and he reaches out to Fortetchi by continuing to sing in front of him. Fortetchi tells Mametchi that his singing needs more work, but his persistence and confidence encourages him to sing in front of others. The Note Tama Heart then appears from their new friendship and he joins the Tama-friends in singing Happy Happy Harmony.

GO-GO Tamagotchi![]

Fortetchi is seen with other Melody Land residents in "Laughing, Laughing, Another Gottsun!" during the special performance of Happy Happy Harmony.
