Dorotchi (どろっち Dorotchi) is an adult Tamagotchi character who debuted on the Keitai Kaitsuu Tamagotchi Plus in Japan, and the Tamagotchi Connection Version 2 internationally.
Name Origin[]
His name most likely comes from doron, a Japanese word meaning "to abscond" (to leave quickly and secretly and hide oneself). He may be called this because ghosts are said to be able to disappear.
Appearance[]
Dorotchi resembles a white, round ghost with a wiggly "tail". He has small blue eyes and a Kuchipatchi-like mouth (although it is shorter). He has arms which dangle in front of him.
Personality[]
This floating Tamagotchi appeared suddenly and mysteriously one day. He doesn't have much of a presence, but he's very kind to everyone. Dorotchi may look like a ghost, but he doesn't try to be mean. He likes ice skating, but he just wears skates on his arms and floats above the ice.

Keitai Kaitsuu Tamagotchi Plus[]
Dorotchi appears on even generations from good physical care but poor emotional care. If the previous generation was a Violetchi who married a Mametchi (from another Keitai, not from the Matchmaker) with both at 100% discipline, Dorotchi will eventually evolve into Paparatchi. His unique items are a well and a pointed cap (similar to Obaketchi's).
Tamagotchi Connection V2/V3[]
Dorotchi is a gender-neutral adult that can be obtained on even generations with average care on both devices, going to sleep at 10pm and waking up at 8am. Its favorite food is corndogs, and it dislikes crackers on the V2 and apple pie on the V3.

Dorotchi is a male adult that can be obtained on even generations with average care.
Tamagotchi Plus Color[]
Dorotchi is a non-raisable character. He appears when Memetchi uses the 3-D Glasses item.
Tamagotchi Smart[]
Dorotchi is a raisable adult exclusive to the Kei-Tama Friends TamaSma Card for the Tamagotchi Smart. He can be obtained from any male teen by playing with the Water Well item the most out of other card content.

Dorotchi appeared in the beginning of the movie with other students having an adventure in the Magical Flying Library Ship.
Tamagotchi![]
He appears in the Tamagotchi! as a member of Mametchi's class at Tamagotchi School and occasionally makes minor appearances.
In "A Sparkling Debut! Lovelin's Skating Lessons", Dorotchi is seen ice skating with Nemutchi and Togetchi, stating that they feel confident when over ice. However, he is wearing ice skates on his hands and floating over the ice instead of ice skating. In "Chop! Gotchi Slices!", he watches and complements Samurai Mametchi's training with Nemutchi. He makes another appearance in "Ding Dong! You have a Visitor" visiting Mametchi's house with other friends to ask him to play.
Dorotchi moves out of Mametchi's class in "New Members? To Class Suddenly" to make space for the new influx of students enrolling into Tamagotchi School. In "Was It a Ghost? Summoning Courage" he secretly joins Mametchi and Kuchipatchi's courage test with Young Dorotchi. They dress up as a ghost and terrorize Mametchi and friends as they try to brave Patchi Forest at night. When Hapihapitchi takes off their costume, they apologize for scaring them as they just wanted to join their fun.
GO-GO Tamagotchi![]
Dorotchi later appeared in GO-GO Tamagotchi!, joining Doritama School's soccer team.
Other Forms[]
Samurai Dorotchi[]
Samurai Dorotchi is a role Dorotchi plays in the TAMAX-TV show Princess Lovelin. He is a part of Mametchi no Suke's group with Samurai Nemutchi. Dorortchi and Nemutchi are often seen complementing Mametchi while he trains and they sometimes join him on missions. However, they are not as as skilled at fighting as Mametchi is.
