Debutchi (でぶっち) is a character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Osutchi and Mesutchi.
Name Origin[]
Debu means "fat" in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Debutchi is a large, round, pink blob with narrow eyes, a large mouth, and chubby cheeks.
Personality[]
Debutchi is a gluttonous Tamagotchi that allowed itself to indulge too much with food. While it knows it needs to become healthy again, it may sneak food if not closely monitored.

Tamagotchi Osutchi and Mesutchi[]
Any character of any growth stage can become Debutchi if their weight is brought up to 99 grams. The two exceptions are a Kuritchi born during the First Generation (as its weight cannot exceed 5 grams) and an adult with a baby. In order to revert Debutchi to its original form the user must reduce its weight to 89 grams by playing a total of 10 games.
As Debutchi, the only functions accesible are the Check meter, the game, and the Discipline icon. Debutchi will never leave any poo of its own, and any unattended poo present prior to evolving will reappear once it turns back to normal. Debutchi will wake and sleep on the same hours as its original form. If not reversed before then, it will go to sleep in this form but the light cannot be turned off. If the previous character was not an adult and/or its discipline bar is not full, Debutchi will still make Discipline calls. Its Hungry and Happy meters will also empty at the same rate as they did before the evolution. Its Happy meter can be filled by playing the game but because it cannot be fed, its Hungry meter cannot be filled as Debutchi. If the Tamagotchi is assuming the form of Debutchi when the original character is due to evolve, it will still do so and Debutchi will now assume the schedule of the new character. Once reverted, it will assume its new form.
Obtaining Debutchi at any time counts as a care mistake. Debutchi will die at the end of 24 hours if it never returns to its previous form.

- The name and concept of Debutchi was used in a Manga de Hakken! Tamagotch 4 Koma Gekijou strip titled "Debutchi?" in which a human feeds his Tamatchi heaps of food in hopes of it evolving faster. Instead, the Tamatchi gets extremely fat and it somewhat resembles the proper Debutchi — It is round with squinted eyes and chubby cheeks, but it has limbs. Coincidentally, Tamatchi and Debutchi are the same color.
- This "Debutchi" was created before the Osutchi and Mesutchi released. It is unknown if this was the inspiration for the character.
