The Eco-usatchi Triplets (エコうさっち Ekousatchi) are three Tamagotchi characters. They appear in the Tamagotchi! anime and first appeared as NPCs on the Tamagotchi iD.

Name Origin[]

Eco-usatchi comes from the words ecology and usagi. Usagi (うさぎ / ) is Japanese for rabbit.

Appearance[]

The Eco-usatchi Triplets have yellow-greenish skin and somewhat resemble rabbits. Each one holds a handbag, which is either yellow, white, or light pink. They have light pink cheeks and hairs in the shapes of letters on their head. Each has one letter on her head, which is either an E, a C, or an O.

Personality[]

The Eco-usatchi Triplets are very shy and like to stay hidden, though they are dedicated to caring for the environment and encouraging recycling. They are often seen in the anime spying on Kuromametchi because they all have a huge crush on him. They often call him "cool and dreamy".

However, they also develop a liking for Kuchipatchi because he is the same color as them and because Uranaitchi said they were fated to be with him. They like chatting to each other and finishing each others' sentences.

On Virtual Pets[]

Most Color Releases[]

Starting from the Tamagotchi iD L, the Triplets appear at the park at certain dates and times depending on the model. If they are encountered they will clean the park up with the user's Tamagotchi and then reward them with an item that generally gives discounts on foods, items, or accessories.

Tamagotchi iD L[]

The Triplets appear on the first day of each month between 10 AM to 2:59 PM. They will give either the Eco Chopsticks (50% discount on food) or Eco Bag (50% discount on items and accessories).

Tamagotchi P's[]

A lone Ecousatchi variant called Zerousatchi appears on the 10th, 20th, and 30th of each month between 11 AM to 2 PM. They will give either the Eco Scoop (allows the Tamagotchi to grow plants in the backyard if they have a Tama Pet), Eco Bag (50% discount on items), or Eco Car (unlocks Eco Town location).

Tamagotchi 4U/4U+[]

The Triplets appear on the 10th, 20th, and 30th of each month between 10 AM to 2:59 PM. They will give either the Eco Badge (raises happiness if played with), Eco Fork (50% discount on food), or Eco Bag (50% discount on items).

Tamagotchi m!x/On[]

The Triplets have the same mechanics as in the 4U. When the Tamagotchi gets married, the Triplets may appear in the background with other NPCs.

On the Tamagotchi On, they will also appear during the spring seasonal animation where they enter the Tamagotchi's room to paint eggs with them.

Tamagotchi Pix[]

The Triplets have the same mechanics as in the On. They can also be encountered in Explore mode if the camera picks up the color green.

In the Anime[]

The Eco Usatchi Triplets are minor characters who appear in the background. They are in Mr. Turtlepedia's class at Tamagotchi School with Chamametchi, Imotchi, and Kikitchi.

Tamagotchi![]

In "Kuromametchi Finds His Coolness" they talk about Kuromametchi's recent adventures which embarrasses Kuromametchi who was listening in on their conversation.

They are shown to have a crush on Kuromametchi in "It Might Be Good~! Uranaitchi's Divination" and watch him from afar, hidden behind a bush. Later on in that episode, they ask Uranaitchi if they were fated to be with Kuromametchi. She responds that they're fated to be with Kuchipatchi instead, which shocks them. However, they fall for him anyways as he is green like them. Kuchipatchi later helps them in "New Hero? Patchiman Datchi" by stopping their runaway wheelbarrow full of water bottles. One of the triplets rewards him with candy afterward. In "One, Two! One, Two! Let's Dance", they join a dance team with Chamametchi, Imotchi, and Octodogtchi.

The Triplets enter a race in "Tamagotchi Grand Prix! Fierce Race" with a car that is solely powered by them running. They end up crashing into other racers after Kikitchi's car loses control after slipping on a banana peel. In "New Members? To Class Suddenly", the triplets are moved to another teacher's classroom to make space for the influx of new students enrolling into Tamagotchi School.

In "Big Fight!? Moriritchi vs Anemoriritchi", they are seen at the Tamamori Shop looking for Tamamori accessories to buy.

ECO MEETS

Eco-usatchi's alternate palette

  • In the Pastel Version of Tamagotchi On, each Eco-usatchi has a different colour (from left to right; blue, pink and yellow respectively), and has light blue outlines, similar to a Tamagotchi inherited with the Pastel Egg. These Eco-usatchi may also appear when using the Chick Nest Doll (ピヨリョーシカ) item on a Tamagotchi who likes this item.
