Tama Hearts (たまハート Tama Hāto), also known as Tama-Hearts, are magical heart shaped objects formed from the bond of friendship and love, and are found throughout Tamagotchi Planet. They appeared throughout the last three seasons of the original Tamagotchi! anime during the Tama Heart arc, where Lovelitchi and Melodytchi would collect them with their Tama Profy.
History[]
Long, long ago, there were once many Tama Hearts across Tamagotchi Planet. Normal Tamagotchis couldn't see them, but Hatokamitchi, the god of Tama Hearts, could, and he said they were really beautiful. Tama Hearts also keep Tamagotchi Planet alive. But then the Tama Hearts began to disappear at an increasing rate, So Hatokamitchi gave Kizunatchi a job to collect as many Tama Hearts as she could.

When Lovelitchi and Melodytchi gained their Tama Profys after it fused with the Melody Charm, it collected an ancient Tama Heart that was hiding in a stained glassed window in Gotchi King's Castle. Princess Tamako then explains that Tama Hearts are magical items formed from strong bonds of love and friendship. The hearts keep Tamagotchi Planet alive and she adds that the Tama-friends must be destined to collect them if a Tama Heart revealed itself to them. From then on, Lovelitchi and Melodytchi would collect Tama Hearts in their Tama Profys whenever one appeared.
The Tama-friends became determined to learn more about Tama Hearts and their research lead them to the Tama Desert where the Tama Sand Tribe were once close with a Tama Heart that blessed them with rain and water. After restoring their relationship with the Tama Heart and bringing back their water, Lovelitchi and Melodytchi discovered a Tamagotchi called Kizunatchi living inside their Profys. Kizunatchi laters introduces herself as a Tama Heart collector and teaches the two how reveal a Tama Heart's true appearance by playing the Melody Charm. Kizunatchi would then help Lovelitchi and Melodytchi collect Tama Hearts and keep track of their collection.
When the Tama-friends first visit Ha Island in "Full of Mystery!? Ha Island and Hatokamitchi", Hatokamitchi has Kizunatchi let out all the Tama Heart she collected so they can summon a mysterious plate from a fountain. However, the plate only makes it up halfway before completely freezing and returning to the fountain's depths. Hatokamitchi notes that it'll require more hearts to fully take it out and encourages them to collect more.
When the Eggification curse began turning Tamagotchi Planet and Tamagotchis into eggs in "The Power of the Bond", the Tama-friends use their Tama-Hearts to summon the final mysterious plate. All the mysterious plates and their associated ancient Tama Hearts are then placed into pillars in the island to cure the egg curse. The process restores all the lost Kizuna Tama Hearts on Tamagotchi Planet.

Tama Heart Collection Tama Profy[]
In the Tama Heart Collection Tama Profy, the user must collect all 120 Tama Hearts through playing games, connecting to other Profys, responding to mail requests, and inserting secret passwords. Collecting Tama Hearts unlocks more Tamagotchi characters to play with when playing games or collecting hearts. Some of the hearts in the Tama Profy are lifted from the anime, having the same name and appearance.

This triggers the evolution of Kizunatchi when gathered, allowing her to fight against the Egg Curse and cure the planet once and for all. They are the last Tama Hearts to be discovered.
