Mamametchi (ままめっち Mamametchi) is an adult female Tamagotchi. She's the mother of Mametchi and Chamametchi, and the wife of Papamametchi. She first appeared in Tamagotchi: The Movie. On virtual pets, she debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 5 as the mother of the Mame Family.
Name Origin[]
Mamametchi's name comes from mama and Mame, as she is the mother of the Mame Family.
Appearance[]
Mamametchi has cream skin and pink Mametchi ears. The ears resemble a hat that goes over her eyes slightly. She has a ribbon on the side of her ears like Chamametchi does, except it is the same color as her ears (pink) instead of yellow.
She wears a pink scarf and skirt. Originally, she did not wear a shirt but, in the Tamagotchi! anime the design was changed so that she wore a light pink shirt. In the anime, she has blue irises. Originally in Tamagotchi: The Movie and Let's Go! Tamagotchi, there was no white reflection on her eyes. Later on in the Tamagotchi! anime, her eyes were given a more shiny appearance.
Personality[]
Mamametchi looks very young and is often mistaken as one of Mametchi's friends. She is very talented at dancing, quiz shows, and cooking. She was the cheer and dance champion at Mame City a long time ago and Papamametchi says that she was the quiz show champion at Mame City.
Mamametchi likes cooking and often makes cookies and pies for when Mametchi's friends come to visit.

Tamagotchi: The Movie[]
Mamametchi's first animated appearance was in Tamagotchi: The Movie. She is seen early on in the movie carrying Chamametchi's egg in a brown sling. She appears later on when Mametchi and his friends are in space, and she watches them from the Mamemame Laboratory.
Let's Go! Tamagotchi[]
Mamametchi appears in "Super Heroine Chamametchi!". At the beginning of the episode, she goes out of the house for a bit. Towards the end of the episode, she comes back to find that Chamametchi is napping on the couch. Mamametchi picks up Chamametchi, and Chamametchi mumbles that she was a super hero. Mamametchi smiles and remarks that she must've had quite a dream.
Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe![]
Mamametchi appears throughout the second movie Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe!. After Mametchi creates Hapihapitchi, she is seen celebrating her birth with the rest of the family with drinks and cakes she made. When the Mame family goes to Celebria for a fun outing, she can be seen trying on clothes, watching Chamametchi play a lottery, and eating at McDonalds. Later on in the movie, when Mametchi and friends are working to save Celebria from a paper tornado created by an unstable storybook, Mamametchi is seen outside the tornado's limits with Kuchipatchi and Memetchi's families. When the tornado advances and turns Papamametchi into paper, she becomes worried for him as they run away.
At the end of the movie, Mametchi and friends safely return and Chamametchi is hugged by Mamametchi.
Tamagotchi![]
Mamametchi appears from time to time in the Tamagotchi! series. She can usually be seen at Mametchi's house or with the family on outings.
In "There Too! Here Too! Mamametchi", everyone but Mametchi, Chamametchi, and Hapihapitchi is transformed into her by corn aliens and it's up to her children to figure out which Mamametchi is the real one. In "Cake and Chitchat! Mama Friend Club" she is revealed to be apart of the Mama Friend Club, a club of the main cast's mothers that come together every now and then at TamaCafe to gossip and tell stories.
When Mametchi creates copies of Papamametchi for the family to spend time with in "Piko Piko Copy! Papamametchi", Mamametchi is happy to go shopping with her copy. However, the copy is faulty and ends up buying too many things. She goes out walking with another copy, but it is also faulty and only wants to walk and do nothing else. Eventually, an accident causes multiple copies of Papamametchi to be made and Mamametchi tells her family to run to Mamemame Laboratory so the real Papamametchi can fix everything.
Mamametchi and Chamametchi try to take care of Fuwamokotchi in "Mama! Lost Child Fuwamokotchi" while Mametchi tries to look for their mother. The two are overwhelmed by Fuwamokotchi loud cries and them bouncing everywhere so Mametchi takes them with him when going out to look for the mother. Papamametchi later comes home to the two still worn out and tired.
In "Fashion! The Best? Eggs of Style", Mamametchi reassures Chamametchi that Papamametchi will come home eventually after finding a cure to the Eggification curse. By the end of "Shock! The Eggification Doesn't Stop", Mametchi comes home to her and the rest of the Mame family turned into eggs. She is returned to normal in "The Power of the Bond".
Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream[]
Mamametchi appears in "Tamatomo Reunion! Coming Home to Tamagotchi Town" when Mametchi, Memetchi, and Kuchipatchi return to Tamagotchi Town for a day.
GO-GO Tamagotchi![]
Mamametchi appears in "Dokidoki! Exchange Sleepover". Coffretchi stays over at Mametchi's house, and she and Chamametchi and Mamametchi all have fun together. At the end of the episode, Mametchi and Chamametchi make a cake for Mamametchi to show their love and appreciation for her.

Mametchi is Mamametchi's son. He is always creating inventions though sometimes it creates a mess which causes Mamametchi to scold him. Whenever Mametchi gets into a dangerous adventure she becomes concerned, even going as far to say he can't go. However, Papapmametchi has convinced her to let him go and experience new things.
