Necktietchi (ねくたいっち Nekutaitchi) is a male adult Tamagotchi character that debuted on the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus in Japan and on the TamaTown Tama-Go internationally.
Name Origin[]
Necktietchi's name comes from the word "necktie", which refers to the necktie that he wears.
Appearance[]
Necktietchi has yellow skin. He has a bit of flat, zigzagging hair on top of his head, big oval-shaped eyes, and a pink beak. He wears a large blue tie. In the anime, he has blue irises.
Personality[]
Necktietchi is very good at flattering and appeasing people. When times get tough, he sometimes cries when he is alone. When he gets drunk, he wears his tie around his head (like a headband) and has fun stupidly. He is depicted as being a street person in the anime.
When speaking, Necktietchi has a verbal tic and always says tie (たい tai) at the end of every sentence.

Necktietchi is one of the secret characters that can be obtained from the Hatena Group, Dating Card #1. Necktietchi evolves from Ohigetchi, who evolves from Meganetchi.
Tamatown Tama-Go[]
Necktietchi is one of the worst care adults. He can evolve from Kilalatchi, Korokotchi or Monapatchi regardless of generations.
In the Anime[]
Tamagotchi![]
Necktietchi is a minor character often seen in the background in Tamagotchi Town. He is often used as an breakout character.
In "Fly Away, Christmas Cards!", he is seen in the beginning of the episode feeling dejected from all the Christmas cheer. At the end, one of the Spacy Brother's Christmas cards flies into his face and he becomes happy from receiving his first Christmas letter. In "Beep Beep! Ready to Take Over Tamagotchi Planet!", the Spacy Brothers discover him and are overjoyed as they thought everyone on Tamagotchi Planet was taken away by mutant waves. He explains to them that it's "Roll Over the Floor Day" and invites them to celebrate the holiday with him.
Safetytchi overhears a rumor about Necktietchi in "The Power of Gossip!" stating that he has 100 identical ties that he switches out everyday and that no one is able to notice that it's a different tie. He also volunteers to taste donuts as part of the judge panel in "Battle On! The Great Donut Contest!" with Donutchi and Safetytchi. In "Tah-Dah! Opposing Program Quiz Battle", he teams up with Kowamotetchi for quiz team battle.
In "Clash! Waiwai Hockey", he acts as the grand champion of Waiwai Hockey and quickly beats Kuromametchi, surprising everyone. "Age~? Spacytchi's Love" reveals that he is currently dating Agetchi. In "Happy! Flower Tamamori", he acts as a judge with Tamastetchi for the Sparkling Tamamori Heaven contest in Flower Hills.
He is the first Tamagotchi to see Himespetchi's spaceship in "Gigakyun! Mysterious Transfer Student Himespetchi" and is bewildered by the sight. In "Big Fight!? Moriritchi vs Anemoriritchi", he is one of the Tamagotchi overwhelming Anemoriritchi when she is left to work by herself at the Tamamori Shop.
GO-GO Tamagotchi![]
Necktietchi appears in "Laughing, Laughing, Another Gottsun!" during the special performance of Happy Happy Harmony.
