Shimashimatchi (しましまっち Shimashimatchi), also referred to as Simasimatchi, is a male adult Tamagotchi character that debuted on the Chou Jinsei Enjoi Tamagotchi Plus in Japan and on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 4 internationally.
Name Origin[]
Shimashimatchi's name comes from the Japanese word shima, which means stripe.
Appearance[]
Shimashimatchi is yellow with black stripes, somewhat resembling a bumble bee. He also has pink cheeks and small round orange feet and ears. When he gets angry, his stripes turn to zig-zags.
Personality[]
Shimashimatchi loves striped things and collects all kinds of striped objects, and he wishes more people liked stripes. However, he can't stand polka dots. He used to wear striped clothes until he realized he could paint his body.

Shimashimatchi is a raisable adult exclusive to the En-Tama Friends TamaSma Card for the Tamagotchi Smart. He is obtained from any male teen by playing with the Necktie item the most out of other card content.
Tamagotchi Uni[]
Shimashimatchi is a raisable adult that evolves from Kuriritchi, Gunchitchi, or Curltchi if they are born from a connection marriage between two Unis and have made at least one DIY craft. His hunger drops by one every 50 minutes while his happiness drops by one every 40 minutes. He goes to sleep at 10 PM and has a 30% chance of becoming sick after a care mistake is made.

Shimashimatchi appears as one of Mametchi's classmates at Tamagotchi School. He appears in scenes taking place at Tamagotchi School and later appears at Mamemame Laboratory to watch Mametchi and friend's mission in space.

Shimashimatchi is a minor character, and he usually only appears as a background character. It is suggested that he may be friends with Yattatchi, Zukyutchi, and Kuchipatchi as his dream in "The Secret of Tamagotchi Town" has him racing them in race cars.
