Uwasatchi (うわさっち) is a female Tamagotchi character. She debuted as a raisable character on the Japanese Tamagotchi iD and the Tama-Go internationally. She also appears in Mametchi's class in the Tamagotchi! anime.
Name Origin[]
"Uwasa" is Japanese for "gossip" and "rumor".

Appearance[]
Uwasatchi has cream skin, orange cheek spots, and freckles. She wears an orange dress, green stockings, and a large green hat with yellow flowers on it. Each of her eyes have two eyelashes, and in the anime her irises are depicted as purple.
Personality[]
Uwasatchi is often said to be selfish and moody. She's always desperate to spread the latest gossip, even though it often hurts her friends' feelings. She hates being told that she is attempting to make up a false rumor. She is sneaky, suspicious and distrusting, but gets flustered when she is called cute or is seen being girly.
Sometimes she has trouble seeing the truth, for instance she refused to believe Lovelitchi when she said she was Lovelin, because she thought Lovelin's true identity was Kuromametchi. Uwasatchi also loves the colors orange and green (reflecting her outfit) but dislikes pink.
According to her profile in "Is This a Confession? Mystery Profile", her "type" (for love interests) is Tamagotchis who are tight-lipped and good at keeping secrets, which is a stark contrast to her own personality.

Uwasatchi suspicious of Lovelitchi
Usawatchi likes to gossip about other Tamagotchis, and carries a purple book with her, which she uses to store information about other tamagotchis. She makes her own newspapers that feature her gossip about other Tamagotchis, which are rather popular. She has a verbal tic; a lot of her sentences end in だわさ (dawasa).
She tries to pursue Lovelitchi in "In Hot Pursuit of Lovelin!" when she goes off to film a Gotchiman episode in the park. She and Spacytchi try to go in the Lovelin Bus, but are stopped by ADtchi. They later run after Kuromametchi dressed in Hero Lovelin's costume and end up crashing into each other after a chase sequence.
In "The Power of Gossip!", she distributes her own gossip newspaper at school and catches Memetchi's fury by publishing a rumor that her hair curl is fake. She shares this rumor to Tamagotchi Town with her mom, Safetytchi, on a radio talk show. Later on, she writes down a rumor on her own mom while she is getting chased by a mob who has fallen for Memetchi's fake rumor about Safetytchi's hair.
In "Lovelin! Tama-Friend Rumor dawasa", she wants to find out more about the big secret involving Lovelitchi and Lovelin. When Lovelitchi tells everyone that she is Lovelin, Uwasatchi does not believe in her and thinks it might be just a joke or a made-up gossip. Lovelitchi decides to take her on a show recording as Lovelin, but Uwasatchi still does not believe her until Lovelin incidentally mentions all their classmates.
Uwasatchi hoping to reveal Spacytchi's evil plans
In "Scoop! Spacytchi's Secret Dawasa", she overhears Spacytchi boast about his plans to take over Tamagotchi Planet and tries to get Nachuratchi to take photos for evidence as everyone thinks she's making up gossip. However, Nachuratchi keeps getting distracted and this deeply annoys Uwasatchi. The two manage to take photos of Spacytchi's base, but when Uwasatchi shows her friends the developed photos it's revealed that Nachuratchi took pictures of the sky instead.

Repo Repo Uwasatchi[]
Repo Repo Uwasatchi is Uwasatchi's Henshin Jo transformation on the Tamagotchi iD L. She resembles a reporter and has multiple microphones on her head. She appeared in Tamagotchi! in the episode "Don Transform! Henshin Jo / Unite! Three Hell Devil Sisters".

Safetytchi is Uwasatchi's mother. She is equally as nosy and inquisitive as her daughter. Safetytchi works as a crossing guard at Tamagotchi School and carries the crosswalk itself with her.
