In Hot Pursuit of Lovelin! (ラブリン大追跡！だわさ Raburin daitsuiseki! Dawasa) is part 2 of episode 5 of Tamagotchi!
Synopsis[]
Uwasatchi's suspicions of Lovelitchi's secret identity become high and she starts her own investigation to figure it out once and for all.
Plot[]
Chamametchi walks into Mametchi's classroom to announce that they're shooting a scene of Gotchiman at the park so the group decides to head over there to ask Gotchiman and Lovelin questions for their Tama-friend project. Meanwhile, the Spacy brothers are walking down the street and Spacytchi comes up with the idea to befriend Lovelin for her popularity. Akaspetchi mentions that if Lovelin talks about them then they can get everyone's attention and become famous.
At the park, Uwasatchi watches as the TV crew shoots a scene of Gotchiman. Lovelin ends up tripping and the crew decide to take a break to let her rest for a bit. Manenetchi asks Lovelitchi what's wrong inside the bus and she sadly responds that she feels confused on what to do. She isn't sure if she should keep her identity a secret from her friends as tama-friends aren't supposed to keep secrets from each other. Outside the bus, Uwasatchi and the Spacy brothers try to peek and get inside, but ADtchi gets in the way and tells them to leave her alone.
Lovelitchi returns to finish the scene and the group approaches Gotchiman and Lovelin to interview them. Gotchiman states that fans of Gotchiman are his friends and Lovelin replies that tama-friends are those that don't lie or keep secrets. The group is happy with the responses and Mametchi says he shares the same opinion as Lovelin, causing her to look uneasy.
Lovelitchi returns to the bus and Uwasatchi and the Spacy Brothers are seen closing in on both sides, determined to get to Lovelin. Suddenly a voice shouts out "Hey, there's Lovelin!" and a figure is seen running away into town. Everyone gives chase after them and after running all around town, the figure stops and it's revealed that they're KuroMametchi in disguise. He sighs, thinking he lost them, but then they catch up and collide into him anyways. Uwasatchi questions who he is, noting that he's bigger, stronger, and not cute. The Spacy brothers are dazed and forget what they were doing in the first place. The Lovelin Bus then passes by, shocking Uwasatchi who can't understand how Lovelin can be in front of her and not in the bus. KuroMametchi says Lovelin's catchphrase in a high pitched voice and runs away to hide in an alley. He takes the costume off and agrees that he isn't cute.
The bus drives back to Tamagotchi School as Lovelitchi thinks about the answer she gave her group back at the park as Lovelin. After a band performance by another group, Mametchi's group comes up in front of the class to do their presentation. He states that Tama-friends are friends that you have a special bond with and Lovelitchi realizes that a tama-friend is a true friend. She frowns and looks sad as Mametchi gives the rest of the presentation.
