Flustered! I've Lost My Memory!? (ドギマギ!うち 記憶喪失になっちゃった!? Dogimagi! Uchi kioku sōshitsu ni natchatta!?) is the 129th episode of the original Tamagotchi! anime.
Synopsis[]
Himespetchi was excited to see a love story movie. However, on the way back, she falls down some stairs and loses her memory. Prince Tamahiko, who encounters the confused Himespetchi, tries to help her regain her memory. Himespetchi mistakes the kind and gentle Prince Tamahiko for the person she is fated to be with.[1]
Plot[]
Himespetchi walks out from a movie theater, having just enjoyed a movie about a prince. She fantasizes about Mametchi being a prince and gets so lost in it that she falls down a flight of stairs. When she sits back up, she is unable to remember what she was doing and who she was fantasizing about. Prince Tamahiko then appears in front of her to ask if she's okay and takes her to his house so she can rest.
As Himespetchi sits on a couch, Prince Tamahiko gushes about his love for Princess Tamako and how he wants to propose to and dance with her. When Himespetchi asks if he was successful in doing that, he sadly responds that he's been rejected, but wants to keep on trying. Himespetchi remembers that she had her own "prince", but struggles to remember what his face looked like. Prince Tamahiko suggests looking at what she's carrying to help her remember and she pulls out her Himespe Phone and Tamagotchi Town travel guide. Himespetchi then puts together that she had a romantic time with her prince using the travel guide to see where to go.
Prince Tamahiko and Himespetchi go around Tamagotchi Town to various date spots to see if they jog her memory. As they spend time together, Himespetchi grows a crush on Prince Tamahiko. When they visit the ferris wheel, Himespetchi's memories come flooding back as she is about to board a car and she realizes Mametchi is her true love. Prince Tamahiko asks if she's okay and Himespetchi suddenly shoves him into the car out of surprise. Prince Tamahiko's head hits the side of the car and he rides the ferris wheel alone as Himespetchi muses that she almost fell in love with the wrong person.
When the car returns, Prince Tamahiko has lost his memory and believes that Himespetchi is his true love. He proposes to her and she firmly rejects him. However, he is determined to propose to her and chases Himespetchi around Tamagotchi Town as she runs away. Himespetchi eventually gives up on running and walks through town trying to figure out what to do next, with Prince Tamahiko following close behind her. She gets the idea to bring him to Princess Tamako so he can remember his true love and heads towards Gotchi King's Castle. However, she sees Mametchi and friends and finds out that they're also going to Gotchi King's Castle to discuss their findings from Ha Island. Himespetchi becomes distressed as Mametchi seeing Prince Tamahiko with her could ruin her chances of getting with him. Determined to fix Prince Tamahiko's memory, she jumps on his horse and tells him to get to the castle as fast as possible.
They arrive at the castle first, but the royal servants refuse entry to them as they're only allowing Mametchi and friends in today. When Mametchi's group arrives, Prince Tamahiko and Himespetchi disguise themselves as Kuchipatchi so they can follow them inside the castle. After Princess Tamako talks to the group about their time on Ha Island they leave to visit the courtyard and Himespetchi introduces herself to the princess. She explains her situation and asks if Prince Tamahiko can see her to which she responds no. Himespetchi pushes Tamahiko out anyway, but Princess Tamako disguises herself and hides from him. Annoyed with the situation, Himespetchi forces them to look at each other, but Prince Tamahiko merely asks who Princess Tamako is before continuing to gush over Himespetchi.
Himespetchi consults her phone to check the bond between Tamahiko and Tamako and is disappointed that it's low. Upon realizing that Princess Tamako does not love Tamahiko back, Himespetchi becomes upset and is unsure of what to do. She asks if they want to at least dance together, but they respond no. Himespetchi then dances with Tamahiko in the hopes that it might jog his memory. However, Mametchi and friends return to the room and are surprised to see Himespetchi there. When Prince Tamahiko calls Himespetchi his honey, she becomes distraught and throws Tamahiko at a pile of balls sitting in the room.
The balls bounce all around the room and hit everyone, causing them to get dizzy. When the balls stop bouncing, Prince Tamahiko's memory comes back and he proposes to Princess Tamako who promptly rejects him. Himespetchi then checks up on Mametchi who asks who she is. To her disappointment, all of her friends have lost their memories from being hit by the balls.
