Personality[]
Forensic Officer Kuromametchi examines the clues in a case using his laboratory and reports his findings to Detective Anpan. He generally acts cool and is popular with girls, with a group of them usually flocking to him during police meetings.

Forensic Officer Kuromametchi first appears in "Stop Right There! Thief Papillon!". During a police meeting he explains that a note was left behind by Thief Papillon, announcing their intent to steal a golden statue from Boss Madeleine Kirie Dotchine's mansion. After he finishes his report, a group of girls immediately flock to him. In "Which One? Thief Papillon Again", he gives another report and later tells Detective Anpan that the note Thief Papillon left behind was written by an imposter, alerting them to Dreamitchi being behind everything.
In "Slapstick Included! Detective Anpan", he comes into the room to give a report and tries to flirt with Detective Anpan who is disguised as a girl for the upcoming case. Upon realizing it's Detective Anpan, he is shocked and disappointed that it wasn't an actual girl.
