Gaogaltchi (ぎゃおぎゃるっち Gyaogyarutchi) is a female adult-stage character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Smart.
Name Origin[]
"Gao" is Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound a dinosaur or wild animal would make. In Japan, the term "gal" is used for a feminine, bold fashion trend inspired by Western fashion.
Appearance[]
Gaogaltchi is a pale green dinosaur-like Tamagotchi with three pink stripes on her body, large eyes with eyelashes, a yellow beak, and tiny dark legs with feet. Her body is shaped somewhat like an upside down egg, but with a pointed tail. She has pink dorsal fins all down her back, and a pink heart on the end of her tail. She also has a purple unicorn horn with a magenta ribbon on her head.
Personality[]
She is a "gal" Tamagotchi brimming with self-confidence. She is full of modern charm, thanks to the coolness of her horn and fins combined with the cuteness of her make-up and accessories.

Gaogaltchi is a raisable adult on the Tamagotchi Smart that evolves from any female teen with 4-5 care mistakes. If 6 care mistakes are made, she can alternatively be obtained by ordering Tama Delivery 10+ times.

Gaogaltchi is a NPC exclusive to the Party version of the Tamagotchi Pix. She can be encountered in Explore mode.

Kuromi Gao is a transformation exclusive to the Sanrio Characters TamaSma Card on the Smart. Gaogaltchi is dressed as Kuromi, wearing the same black hood as her along with a matching tail. After trying to imitate Kuromi's relationship with My Melody, she has proclaimed herself Melody Pop's rival. It seems she started writing a diary. She is obtained by feeding a female Tamagotchi the Kuromi Soup meal the most before the evolve into an adult.
Gaorukatchi[]
Gaorukatchi is a transformation exclusive to the Marine Change TamaSma Card on the Smart. Gaogaltchi resembles a blue dolphin, having fins as appendages and a flipper for a tail. The Tamagotchis in the ocean seem to be perplexed by her horn and ribbon when they meet her for the first time.

A pair careful about fashion formed by Rose from the stop motion animated series Pui Pui Molcar and Gaogaltchi★. If Gaogaltchi was to put on a cute piercing like Rose's, would she put it on her fins or on her horn?
Gao Fire[]
Gao Fire is a transformation exclusive to the Magical Change TamaSma Card on the Smart. Gaogaltchi resembles a red dragon, having their spikes and tail being actual fire and having dragon wings. Her ribbon, fins and tail are all burning. She breathes fire even when she isn't angry!

Merida Galtchi is a transformation exclusive to the Pixar Friends TamaSma Card. She is Gaogaltchi after turning into a mold-breaking princess, like Merida from Brave. She feels its important to choose your own style guided by your heart!

- Before the Tamagotchi Smart was officially revealed, the web site gave clues about featured characters when the egg was clicked. Gaogaltchi's clue was "GAL x Dinosaur".
- She bears some resemblance to Sebiretchi and is able to breathe fire like her when angry.
