Synopsis[]
Mametchi and his friends are having a Christmas party at Lovelitchi's house. At the party, they decide to dress up in Christmas costumes and have fun. Spacytchi was invited, but he doesn't know anything about Christmas!
Plot[]
Christmas is around the corner at Tamagotchi Town and the children at school start talking about their plans for the holiday. Lovelitchi invites her friends to a Christmas party at Tama Cafe and includes Spacytchi who happened to pass by. He nervously considers and then accepts the invitation.
During lunch, Lovelitchi lists all the fun things they'll do at the party. Mametchi says he'll come in his Santaclautchi costume and Memetchi suggests that they turn the party into a Christmas costume party and have a contest to see who has the best costume. The others excitedly agree with the idea and talk about it as Spacytchi leaves the table feeling dismayed. Kuchipatchi asks where he's going and he makes up the excuse that he forgot something. Spacytchi runs over to Pipospetchi and Akaspetchi hiding behind the sports shed and explains the situation. They cheer him on to win until he asks them what Christmas means. Both of them are unable to provide an answer and Spacytchi berates them for not studying tamagotchi culture, with Akaspetchi pointing out that he's the one attending school. After Pipospetchi gives a chilling suggestion, Spacytchi states that he can't ask people directly what Christmas is as it would blow their cover as aliens. He then resolves to figure out a way to get the answer from his classmates instead.
The school day ends and the tama-friends walk down Tama Street, admiring all the decorations. Spacytchi makes his move and asks everyone what Christmas means to them. They are puzzled at first which makes him nervous and try to retract the question, but Mametchi praises him for asking a good question. Everyone then proceeds to give their own answer: Memetchi likes receiving Christmas cards and eating food, Makiko likes catching up with family, Kuromametchi likes spending time on a snowy mountain for self-reflection, Kuchipatchi likes opening gifts with family, Chamametchi likes hanging socks over the fireplace, and Lovelitchi likes decorating the Christmas tree. With each answer, Spacytchi gets more overwhelmed and confused.
Later at night, the Spacy Brothers try to figure out the meaning of Christmas from all the answers they heard. Spacytchi is unable to make sense of it and angrily yells that he doesn't get why he has to be so excited for Christmas. He then adds that he refuses to sleep on a snowy mountain like Kuromametchi because it's too cold.
The Christmas party begins at Tama Cafe as all the guests arrive in their costumes. Flowertchi notices Spacytchi isn't at the party yet and Lovelitchi suggests that he may not be feeling well because he looked upset when they were together at Tama Street. Memetchi replies he isn't like that and is surprised by sudden flying confetti. It's from Spacytchi who's dressed in an amalgamation of what the group had answered to the question: Christmas cards, stockings, cutlery, fluff representing snow, presents, and presents. The group is speechless at first, mortifying Spacytchi who thinks back to earlier when he nearly gave up because he couldn't think of what to do until his brothers encouraged him to show his fighting spirit. Mametchi then calls his costume cool and the group close in on him to admire his costume up close, noting how nice it was for him to be inspired by all their answers. Lovelitchi crowns him the winner and the celebrations start for real, with Spacytchi looking pleased to be a part of it.
Meanwhile, at the Christmas tree at TAMAX-TV, Pipospetchi and Akaspetchi are hanging by their antennas on the tree. Akaspetchi states that he'd thought it would be a good idea to watch the party from the tree, but it's so far away that he can't tell what's happening. Pipospetchi then starts swinging around and Akaspetchi joins him.
