Good Luck! Big Tama Pet Race (がんばれ！たまペット大レース Ganbare! Tama petto dai rēsu) is part 2 of episode 94 of Tamagotchi!.
Synopsis[]
Today is the the "Big Tama Pet Race"! The Tama Friends let their tama pets participate in the race. Pipospetchi also joins disguised as a pet. How will the race go?
Plot[]
MC Puppetchi announces the beginning of the Tama Pet race, where several Tama Pets will go through an obstacle course to reach the end. With him in the commentator's box is Maisutatchi, Don Paratchi, and Watawatatchi who is introduced as a Tama Pet expert. Don Paratchi moves to the start line to start the race, counting down and beginning it with a loud "DON".
The Tama Pets then run or fly as their owners in the stands cheer them on. Chamametchi notices Shurikentchi standing still with their eyes closed at the start line, having not moved at all. Mametchi also notices Kuchipatchi cheering for his Tama Pet and he questions who he's cheering for as they don't seem to be with other racers. As the pets continue going, Pashalin snaps pictures of them.
Everyone then turns their attention to Pipospetchi who is dressed in a dog costume and running with the other pets. MC Puppetchi looks at the registration list to see who he is and states that his name is "Wan Wan Pipotchi" and his owners are "Ojispetchi" and "Obaspetchi" (who are Spacytchi and Akaspetchi dressed as old parents). The two cheer from the stands and Spacytchi explains that if Pipospetchi wins, they can use the attention to help them take over Tamagotchi Planet. However, Pipospetchi gets stuck in a tire and the other pets pass by him, to Spacytchi and Akaspetchi's annoyance.
The pets are later seen bouncing on a trampoline having fun, not bothering to continue the race. Hapihapitchi and Puchiberitchi fly over them and Chamametchi and Puchiberitchi brag about their ability to fly. A giant fly swatter then comes out of nowhere to swat the two all the way back to the start line and Melodytchi responds that flying won't give them an advantage after all. A moving dirt pile passes by the trampoline and it's revealed to be Onsemoguratchi who was tunneling through the ground the whole time. Kuchipatchi cheers for him as everyone else is surprised to see him move to first place. Meanwhile, MC Puppetchi asks if Shurikentchi is okay as they still have not moved at all.
Onsenmoguratchi makes it to the next obstacle, a Tamamori hut where Moriritchi and Anemoriritchi are waiting to give Tamamori makeovers. Every pet that passes through gets a makeover and then continue running except Rubytchi who is stopped by Giragiratchi taking pictures of them. When Spacytchi and Akaspetchi check on Pipospetchi, they are annoyed to see Pipospetchi spending too much time in the Tamamori Hut. Pipospetchi is complaining about his Tamamori and Moriritchi notes that he is hard to please. They grab Pipospetchi and corner him, angrily berating him for messing around. The two then kick him out of the hut and Spacytchi makes a plan to take things into their own hands to help Pipospetchi win.
After the pets pass through a tunnel, they smell a barbecue and all except Bagubagutchi, Harappatchi, and Onsemoguratchi head towards it. Kuchipatchi is also there and Spacytchi is happy to see his trap work. However, it also attracts Pipospetchi and they end up kicking him back onto the race path. Puchiberitchi passes by and ignores the barbecue, with Perotchi noting that she only likes berries. A truck full of berries then passes near the path and Puchiberitchi goes after it to Perotchi's dismay. The scene cuts to Shurikentchi who finally awaken and moves at lightning fast speed, catching up to Onsemoguratchi in front of the race.
Onsenmoguratchi suddenly senses an underground hot spring and goes towards it. The spring propels him up the air and Telelin shouts out loud to watch out for the water. Hearing Telelin's voice, Harapparatchi runs towards her and chases her, bouncing off Shigurehimetchi's face in the process. Shurikentchi sees Shigureimetchi falling and moves quickly to catch her. This leaves Pipospetchi as the last one in the race and he crosses the finish line with pride, his brothers celebrating by throwing him up in the air. However, the screen moves to the left to reveal Bagubagutchi had long beaten him to the finish line and the Spacytchi brothers are left shocked. Bagubagutchi is crowned the winner, but he seems disinterested in everything, falling asleep on top of his trophy.
