Happy (シアワセーニョ Shiawasē'nyo) is a male Tamagotchi character that debuted in Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe!. On the virtual pets, he appeared as a NPC on the 15th Anniversary version of the Tamagotchi iD L.
Appearance[]
Happy wears a red tunic and tan boots, and a large red conical hat with a tan band. In the movie, he sometimes wears a brown cloak. He has a four leaf clover pinned to his tunic. He has light creamy skin, oval shaped eyes, and freckles above his mouth. In some artwork he has brown irises.
Personality[]
Happy is stubborn, similar to Kikitchi. Throughout the movie he acts pessimistic and is anxious because he can't figure out what will make him happy. However, once he realizes that his best friend is what he needs to be happy, he becomes much more cheerful and optimistic. He loves bananas, as one of the things he thought would make him the happiest person was a jungle of banana trees.

Happy is a NPC exclusive to the 15th Anniversary version of the Tamagotchi iD L. He can be encountered at the Magical Flying Library Ship.

Tamagotchi: Happiest Story in the Universe![]
Happy is first seen when Mametchi and friends enter the World's Happiest Story book in the Magical Flying Library Ship. His story has him going on a quest to become the happiest man in the world, learning magic and defeating monsters on the way. Despite becoming rich, he still wasn't happy and it soon becomes apparent to Mametchi and friends that Happy's story loops instead of properly ending. When they offer to help him, Happy rejects their help and runs away.
Later on, Happy's book becomes unstable from the lack of an ending and creates a paper tornado that threatens to engulf Tamagotchi Planet. With Otogitchi and Sister Otogitchi's help, Mametchi and friends enter the book again and try to help Happy find the ending to his story by finding out what makes him feel happy. After a few failed guesses, everyone concludes that feeling connected to others is the key to happiness, but this distresses Happy who never felt connected to anyone. As the book becomes even more unstable, Hapihapitchi makes a final effort to give happiness to Happy by using her power. This makes Happy remember his dog Lucky who was his source of happiness all along and was left behind when he started his quest.
The group then fights to make it to Happy's home to get to Lucky so the storybook can be restored before it falls apart. Lucky and Happy are reunited which returns the storybook world back to normal. When Hapihapitchi nearly dies from using all her stored happiness to help Happy find his ending, Happy returns the favor by giving all his happiness to her. Happy and Lucky then wave goodbye to everyone when they exit his storybook.
