Hashitamatchi (はしたまっち) is a teen character that debuted on the second generation of the original Tamagotchi.
Name Origin[]
Hashi means "beak" and Tama means "round".
Appearance[]
Hashitamatchi resembles a blue ball with beady eyes, red cheeks, and a yellow beak. In his US artwork, he was depicted with a green beak at first.
Personality[]
As Hashitamatchi grows it gains a beak. It is a relaxed, carefree type, and needs a lot of attention and love.
Hashitamatchi has low blood pressure, and wakes up late in the mornings. He is also described as "slow". According to his American description, he finds eating difficult due to his weak beak.

Hashitamatchi evolves from Tonmarutchi after 72 hours and is obtained from bad care. After another 72 hours, Hashitamatchi can evolve into either Hashizoutchi with good care, Kusatchi with average care, or Takotchi with bad care. He loses a hungry and happy heart about every hour and 20 minutes. On the CD-ROM version, he can only evolve into Kusatchi with good care, or Takotchi with bad care. He sleeps at 9 PM and wakes at 9 AM.

Hashitamatchi can evolve from any child character after 24 hours, and appears on even generations as the worst care teen.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 4.5[]
Hashitamatchi appears as one of the two male universal teens, the other one being Hikotchi. Hashitamatchi can evolve from any of the four child characters after 24 hours provided that they are raised with no care mistakes and their parent was either Oyajitchi or one of the universal adults. After 48 hours, he will evolve into Mametchi if given good care, or Kuchipatchi if given bad care.

Hashitamatchi evolves from either Marutchi and Tomarutchi with at least 40 stress (10 for Tonmarutchi) and 3 selfishness. It can only evolve into four possible adults: Nyorotchi/Kusatchi with 0-2 selfishness or Tarakotchi/Takotchi with at least 3. It likes meat and dislikes bread.

Hashitamatchi evolves from Tonmarutchi with 4+ stress.

Hashitamatchi is a Group F teen that evolves from Tonmarutchi with bad care.
