Hatakemotchi (はたけもーっち Hatakemotchi) is a male adult Tamagotchi character that debuted on the Tamagotchi P's in Japan and on the Tamagotchi On internationally.
Name Origin[]
Hatakemotchi's name comes from the Japanese word hatake (畑), meaning an agricultural field, and mo (モー), an onomatopoeia for the sound a cow makes.
Appearance[]
Hatakemotchi resembles a cow. He has an egg-shaped body that is white with dark spots, similar to a cow. He has oval-shaped eyes, a pink beak, and stubby arms and legs. He wears dim blue overalls, grayish-blue boots, and a straw hat. He carries a basket with him on his back, presumably for storing produce. On the P's, he holds an axe instead.
Personality[]
Hatakemotchi is one of the best farmers around, always helping to grow fresh fruits and vegetables for Tama Farm. During his free time, he travels across the Planet, searching for new farming techniques and new crops to grow.

Tamagotchi P's[]
Hatakemotchi can be encountered at Eco Park. He will give the user's Tamagotchi a fruit, vegetable, or soft-serve ice cream.

Hatakemotchi is a male adult that can be befriended and married at the Tama Farm location.
Tamagotchi Uni[]
Hatakemotchi greets the Tamagotchi and encourages them to collect craft materials when they choose the Farm option for a Tama Walk.

Trivia[]
- Hatakemotchi's hat is unable to be passed down to future generations when married.. However, his straw hat can be bought from Tama Farm for any Tamagotchi to wear.
- On the Tamagotchi On, he may ask the user's Tamagotchi if he met them before in Eco Town, referencing his former location on the Tamagotchi's P's.
