Herotchi (ヒーローっち Hīrōtchi) is a male Tamagotchi character who debuted in the anime, Tamagotchi!, and later debuted on the virtual pets with the Tamagotchi iD L.
Name Origin[]
Herotchi comes from the English word "Hero", a person who does courageous things and saves others. This is in reference to Herotchi being dressed as a superhero.
Appearance[]
Herotchi has a blue body and a light pink face. He wears a red cape, and a yellow mask that covers the upper part of his head, and has a yellow curl-like ornament on the front. A microphone is also attached to his mask. His eyes are shaped like half-circles, and in the anime, he has blue irises.
Personality[]
Herotchi wishes to one day be the next big hero actor on TV. Unfortunately, he is prone to listening to bad influences and doing un-heroic things to get ahead. Because of this, he's always undermining himself.
In the anime, Herotchi is very smart and active. He wants to be the new hero of TAMAX-TV, so he wants to get rid of Gotchiman. He is often bossed around by his sister, Madonnatchi, who has uncontrollable anger and is also very spoiled.

In the Anime[]
Tamagotchi![]
Herotchi is an actor at TAMAX-TV, and appears on the Gotchiman show along with Gotchiman, Lovelin and his sister, Madonnatchi. He works with Gotchiman to fight the villains and save Madonnatchi.
He made a cameo in "New Members? To Class Suddenly" appearing on TV and officially debuted with Madonnatchi in "Hero? Idol? Revealed at TAMAX-TV". He schemes with her by putting weights in Gotchiman's boots and setting up a booby trap that will drop an embarrassing wig on Lovelin. However, it backfires when the trap activates on Madonnatchi instead and humiliates her in front of the TV crew.
After learning that Anpan Detective and Gotchiman will star in a show together in "Dream Co-star? Gotchiman vs Detective Anpan", Madonnatchi and Herotchi scheme to ruin the collab in fear of Anpan Detective being more popular than them. Herotchi vandalizes Gotchiman's car while Madonnatchi vandalizes Hero Lovelin's dress. However, this has no effect as those props weren't being used so they trick a Gotchiman script writer to add in ridiculous ideas to ruin the episode instead. They later find out that that Gotchiman and Anpan Detective are co-starring in a quiz show instead of the Gotchiman show meaning their trick had no effect again. Black Hat then vandalizes a nearby set with explosive hats, having read the messed with script, causing it to fall down and crush Herotchi. A hat also falls onto Madonnatchi's head and explodes on her.
In "Tomomi's TAMAX-TV Debut!?" the two become jealous of Tomomi's new popularity and Herotchi replaces her microphone with one that allows him to control the pitch of her voice. While Tomomi initially freezes from embarrassment, Lovelin pretends that Tomomi it's part of the show and the audience believes her. Herotchi and Madonnatchi are then attacked by pigeons from Tomomi's last magic trick. In "Lovelin Shock! Manenetchi's Change of Heart?", Herotchi sabotages Lovelin's concert by releasing all the balloons that were meant to be shared with the audience. Manenetchi gets caught up in them and taken up to the sky so Lovelin ends up having to rescue her.
Herotchi and Madonnatchi try to sabotage Lovelin and Gotchiman again in "Nahahaha! Mametchi's GOTCHIMAN Debut". However, Madonnatchi is frightened by a snake Herotchi places on the set and unknowingly swings on a vine he loosened earlier. She nearly falls into a river before Lovelin catches her. In "Fashion! The Best? Eggs of Style", Herotchi and Madonnatchi are affected by the Eggification curse. Despite being turned into eggs, they still perform their roles on the GOTCHIMAN show.
