Hikotchi (ヒコっち Hikotchi) is a male teen-stage Tamagotchi character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Osutchi in Japan and on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 3 internationally. His female counterpart is UFOtchi.
Name Origin[]
Hikotchi's name comes from the Japanese word "Hiko", which means aviation or flying.
Appearance[]
Hikotchi is completely blue with small black eyes, light blue cheeks resembling windows, and a large beak. Instead of feet, he has three jets underneath him that shoot out small orange flames to keep him airborne. In his original artwork, the flames were red instead of orange.
Personality[]
He always can't wait for anything (like new toys), and he can jump higher than others. He's very proud of how quickly he can speed around using the jet flames that shoot out of his feet. Whether chatting with someone or just having fun, he always bursts in and out of the action; as a result he often jumps to the wrong conclusions and makes mistakes.

Hikotchi is a TMP2 teen that evolves from Hyurutchi from average care or better, and rarely can evolve from Mizutamatchi from below average care. Hikotchi evolves into Hiratchi from average care or better, though can regress into a TMP1 adult with sufficient neglect or evolve into Sutebotchi through severe neglect - with higher discipline levels increasing the care thresholds.
The amount of discipline and care mistakes Hikotchi received as a child will determine his base discipline and whether it takes him 47-48 or 72-73 hours to evolve, and the number of discipline calls he will make depends on his starting discipline - he will only ever make just enough calls to fill the bar completely. He will lose a heart every 60 minutes, sleep from 9 PM to 9 AM, and his base weight is 20g.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 3[]
Hikotchi is one of three teen characters obtained through good care on even generations. It can only be obtained from Mohitamatchi/Kuchitamatchi. Hikotchi can be either gender on this version. His favorite food is milk, but he dislikes chicken drumstick.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 4.5[]
Hikotchi is one of two male universal teens, the other being Hashitamatchi. Hikotchi is obtained by having any universal Tamagotchi as a parent. After 48 hours, he will evolve into Kuchipatchi if given good care, or Gozarutchi if given bad care. His favorite food is soda, and he dislikes milk.
