Hinotamatchi (ひのたまっち Hinotamatchi) is a teenager character that debuted on the Tamagotchi Connection and has since appeared on many releases, mostly throughout the Connection era.

Name Origin[]

"Hino" is the Japanese word for fire and "tama" means ball, so his name translates as Fireballtchi, which signifies his appearance.

Appearance[]

Hinotamatchi resembles a red fireball with no arms or legs. He has an orange beak and light orange cheeks. When he gets angry, the flame on his head burns intensely.

Personality[]

Hinotamatchi is a rebellious Tamagotchi who loves rock 'n' roll.  His favorite food is sundaes and his least favorite food is doughnuts. Hinotamatchi doesn't like water, due to him being fireball-like. He is called a hothead (hence the look) because he is very stubborn. He talks like a tough guy, but is really just a good guy with a passionate heart.

Hinotamatchi is shown to have some properties of fire, with his hair flaming up when angry. His body heat is also hot enough to melt ice and he has the ability to set things on fire.
