Hoshipukatchi (ほしぷかっち Hoshipukatchi) is a male Tamagotchi character who first appeared as a selectable character on the TamaGoLand website. On virtual pets he debuted on the Tamagotchi Smart as a NPC.
Name Origin[]
Hoshipukatchi's name comes from hoshi (星), meaning 'star', and pukapuka (プカプカ), an onomatopoeic word for the sound of floating.
Appearance[]
Hoshipukatchi has a green blob-like body with a yellow face and a green bow beneath his chin. He has light red cheeks and round eyes that have blue irises in the anime. He has a single drooping antenna on top of his head with a yellow star at the end. He constantly hovers a short distance above the ground.
Personality[]
Hoshipukatchi has a carefree disposition, and he often floats around in somewhat of a daze. He dislikes ghosts and scary stories. When he gets nervous, the star on his antenna starts twitching.

Hoshipukatchi first appeared in the episode "Fierce Fight! World Tama Cup". He is one of the soccer players on Motetchi's team.
