Ichigotchi (いちごっち Ichigotchi) is a Tamagotchi character introduced on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 1.
Name Origin[]
Ichigo is Japanese for "strawberry", which is what she is based on.
Appearance[]
Ichigotchi resembles an upside-down strawberry with two green feet that look like strawberry leaves. Her face area is light pink. She has pink cheeks and small, round dark eyes. She has several seeds on the right side of her body.
Personality[]
Ichigotchi comes from Berry Town. She loves to sing and dance and does it everyday. She is generally friendly and well-meaning, but she doesn't like being told things that confuse her or when the seeds on her head are counted. Usually she has five, but sometimes more. Her best friend is Ringotchi. She is also friends with Memetchi and Violetchi.

Tamagotchi Connection Version 1[]
Ichigotchi is a gender-neutral teen that can evolve from Marutchi on the first generation or Kinakomotchi on odd generations through one or less Care Mistakes. It has a base weight of 20lb, sleeps from 8pm to 9am, and its meal and snack are a bowl of rice and a piece of candy - shared with the other teens and children, in addition to the ball obtainable as a connection gift.
Ichigotchi will evolve into an adult after 72 hours - they will become Mametchi with 0-1 care mistakes in either or both categories, Kuchipatchi with 1-2 care mistakes, Tarakotchi/Hanatchi with 3 or more care mistakes (with the evolution being determined by what kinds of care mistakes were made), or Masktchi with 3 or more care mistakes in both physical and mental care.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 2[]
Ichigotchi is one of the three teens obtainable on an even-numbered generation from good care. Ichigotchi sleeps from 8 PM to 9 AM, likes Milk and dislikes Drumsticks.
Tamagotchi Plus Keitai/Akai[]
Ichigotchi is an odd-generation teen obtained through taking good care of Kuribotchi. Depending on care level, it can become either Violetchi (Ribotchi on the Akai) with perfect care, Memetchi with average physical care and good mental care, Debatchi with bad mental care, or Gozarutchi with neglect in both physical and mental care.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 4[]
Hinotamatchi is a female Meme teen that can evolve from Mohitamatchi with good care, Mizutamatchi with good to average care, or from Puchitchi with average care. If she finishes the teen stage with a skill point total of 80 or higher and receives good care she may evolve into either Ponytchi (Intelligence), Memetchi (Art), or Violetchi (Social).
If she doesn't finish the teen stage with a skill point total of 80 or higher but is cared for well then she will instead evolve into Pyonkotchi. However, she may also become Hanatchi if she has a skill point total of under 80 and is not cared for well. Also, even if her skill point total is higher than 80, being neglected to the point of death will trigger an evolution to Masktchi. She sleeps from 8 PM to 9 AM, her favorite food is Cupcakes and her least favorite food is Pears.
Tamagotchi Connection Version 4.5[]
Ichigotchi is a female universal teen, evolving from any female child with no care mistakes if their parent was Oyajitchi or any universal adult. After 48 hours, she will evolve into Mimitchi if given good care, or Memetchi if given bad care. She shares her favorite and least favorite foods as on the Version 4.

Ichigotchi is student #002. Her favorite subject is gymnastics.
Tamagotchi V5/Celebrity[]
Ichigotchi appears on both versions as a Meme/Cheerful family teen (Active family on the V5 Celebrity). She is obtained through any of the three female child characters (Sakuramotchi, Belltchi or Tororotchi) when trained primarily with Cheerful/Active items. Her adult evolution depends on Bonding percentage and what training items are used.
Tamagotchi Music Star[]
Ichigotchi evolves from either Hitodetchi or Tamatchi and can appear in any generation with bad care. Ichigotchi's adult evolution is based on how well she is cared for at the end of thirty hours (one day plus six additional hours). She sleeps from 8:45 PM to 7:30 AM.
Tamagotchi Plus Color/Hexagontchi[]
Ichigotchi is the bad-care female teen, obtained by giving a child four or more care misses. Ichigotchi's unique item on the Plus Color is White Cream, shared with Makiko.
On the Plus Color, she can become Memetchi with no care mistakes, LoveZukintchi with 1-3 care mistakes or Marotchi with four or more care mistakes in odd generations; and in even generations she can become Violetchi with no care mistakes, Maidtchi with 1-3 care mistakes or Makiko with four or more care mistakes. On the Hexagontchi, she can become Mimitchi with no care mistakes, Memetchi with 1-3 care mistakes or Makiko with four or more care mistakes in odd generations; and in even generations she can become Violetchi with no care mistakes, Maidtchi with 1-3 care mistakes or Sebiretchi with four or more care mistakes.

- On the Tamagotchi Connection Versions 4 and 4.5, Ichigotchi's base weight is 0 pounds. She is one of four Tamagotchi characters whose weight can be brought down to this number, the others being Ojyotchi, Oniontchi and Ura Young Violetchi.
- Unusually, the English Dub of Let's Go! Tamagotchi has Ichigotchi voiced by a male.
- Her quote from the Gotchi Figure packaging is; 1..2...3.. DANCE!
- Although Ichigotchi is present as a raisable character on the Tamagotchi Connection Version 4.5, she will appear as Nazotchi when connecting between previous versions, including the Tamagotchi Connection Version 4, and vice-versa. This oddity is shared with Violetchi.
