Irukatchi (いるかっち Irukatchi) is an adult-stage Tamagotchi who debuted in the Tamagotchi Paradise comic book, while its virtual pet debut was on the Tamagotchi Paradise worldwide. It serves as the mascot for the Blue Water version.
Name Origin[]
Irukatchi's name comes from iruka (イルカ), which is the Japanese word for dolphin.
Appearance[]
Irukatchi has an aqua-blue bean-shaped body similar to Ginjirotchi's, with similar arms, legs, eyes and a big upper lip. It resembles a dolphin with a dorsal fin reaching up from its back, and it has a tail with two fins. It has vibrant yellow cheeks and a white underbelly that reaches to the tip of its tail. It also has a shine on the top left.

A little prankster who loves to play. Always bursting with wild energy, Irukatchi is quick to make new friends.

Tamagotchi Uni[]
Irukatchi is an NPC exclusive to the Tamagotchi Lab Tama Portal download location. It can be seen in the Laboratory animation when the Tamagotchi looks through the telescope, in the animation for the Lab File item, and in the "Scientific Sketches" minigame.
Tamagotchi Paradise[]
Irukatchi is a Glide Species adult obtainable in the Water Field from a Glide Young with 0 care misses and by filling the Hunger and Happy meters 5 or more times each. Its hunger decreases by one every 70 minutes, its happiness decreases every 60 minutes, and it has a 35% chance of getting sick after receiving a care miss.
Irukatchi's favorite type of food is seafood; it likes eating Seafood, Shellfish, Fried Fish and Grilled Shellfish. Its least favorite type of food is fruits and vegetables; it dislikes eating Apples, Carrots, Cherries, Corn, Apple Pie, Shredded Carrots, Cherry Pie and Corn Flakes.

Irukatchi's first appearance is in "A New Discovery", seen in the Water section. In "I Can Do It Too!", it does a flip which impresses its caretaker, and Kuchipatchi attempts to do it as well, but fails.

Irukatchi is an obtainable companion in Tamagotchi Party from the Tamagotchi Paradise Gasha machine, and its possible skills are Impact, Abnormal and Sustain. It appears as a fully-3D character who can wear head, face and back accessories.
